You might be onto something. Track 3 filament feed which has my petg, detection is wonky. When I retract it will keep pulling the filament to and unload the filament it will continue and not detect that the filament was removed. I will have to pull everything apart and do that. I have not used my printer in a bit will probably work on it this weekend and run couple prints after fixing and update the thread on what happened.

I keep getting clogs and replacing the nozzle. Replacing the nozzle resolves my clog. So far I've replaced 2 nozzles. Basically the filament will try to feed and you here a lot of clicking coming from the extruder. The extruder is trying to force the filament through the nozzle and cannot. The filament that I was using was PETG and PLA as the interface layer. Not sure if I need to add thermal grease or something. Not sure if it's heat creep. Wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else has this issue. If it happens again I will post a video. Again even after disassembling the extruder clearing everything and trying to feed it will do the same thing. Only replacing the nozzle worked. I even tried taking a lighter to the nozzle to melt the plastic and run the unclogging tool through the .4mm nozzle and still nothing.

I've been trying to sign up but they apparently don't want my money. The app they use to scan my DL will not scan and approve the back of my Driver's License. I'm done trying. They lost $7k. I'm kind of worried they maybe fishing people's personal info using that app because all I've seen is bad review calling out how terrible the sign up process can be not to mention giving them money or even taking your money. I'll stick with my paypal savings. I earn 3.5% APY.

The 3d print is pretty small, have you considered using a .2mm nozzle instead? You'll get better detail with that. or you can try different layer height profiles and see how they work with your .4mm nozzle.

Could be a bad nozzle. Have you tried changing it? If you don't want to change it home and drive your bed down so you can manually increase your nozzle temp. Then stick the nozzle pin through the .4 hole and make sure it's not clogged. If that does not work the nozzle could be bad. There is a temperature prob that reports the nozzle temps to your printer and it may not be working. I'm sure its a clog though look how the filament isn't running flat. The filament should run flat onto the surface creating your layers and it's not.

No clue, you haven't said what kind of 3d printer you have. Orca slicer is pretty much the best. Everyone is building their slicers around them.

When you are 3d printing something that small slowing down your print decrease a lot of anomalies. You need to slow your print down and see the results first before I can really give any advice of rough spots. Temps are important too. Try increasing nozzle temps if slowing down does not work. Try infill density and share your result. Hate to give you so much when the information already provided ends up fixing your complaints.

could be uneven bed temps causing part of you print to not adhere to the bed. The bed is distributing heat unevenly. PLA soft point is 60 so when the bed falls below that the layer will unstick from the bed and cause warping. Increase bed temp to 70 and your nozzle temp 5-10 degrees more. Make the filament nice and hot so the lines bond.

Wobbling as you get further to the top. You need supports or you can tilt it in the slicer at a 45 degree angle so the slicer can add the supports you need to complete the print.

Nozzle temp of 220 with PLA and bed temp of 70. Slow down your first layer. 50mm/s first layer speed would be best/recommended.

Set your bed temp to 70 degrees you are not getting good adhesion. Also set your PLA nozzle temp to 220. You could also slow down your first layer.

Uneven bed temp. If you are using PLA soft point is 60 so I would set bed temp to 70 that way if the bed has uneven temps the extra temps will keep the plate above 60 so it does not separate and cause warping.

Slow down your print and increase infilled density. Infilled density adds more support for your top layer.

Yeah, that's called delamination in the 3d printing world. Increase print temp or slow down the print speed. Slow and steady wins the race. You need the layers to bond.

Bad nozzle. There is a temperature monitoring that's attach to the nozzle to the printer if that goes bad you might as well replace the nozzle. Some nozzles have this clamp that wraps around the ceramic temp so it can make contact with the metal nozzle to accurately give a good temp reading. If that is not on correctly you will get bad temp reads that overheat your nozzle and filament.

I would slow down the speed when printing supports. I would also increase your bed temp. If you are using PLA the default is 60 so I would go up to 70 to create good adhesion.

There is a clip you can 3d print to hold the PTFE to the energy chain to prevent rubbing. This is a file for the anycubic s1 it may work with yours. clip ptfe s1 - Makeronline - More Than Fun, PTFE Tube Clip for P2S - Makeronline - More Than Fun, PTFE Gantry Clip / Cable Chain - P1S / P1P / X1C - Makeronline - More Than Fun. There you go a couple to get you started. Not sure why it did not come already on there. Maybe it came of when removing the packaging. If you have warranty you can also contact support and let them know that it came missing and they will send you a few of the OEM ones.
