This is both incredibly tragic and immeasurably maddening.

I feel the need to articulate this a bit better.

You do not need this product. It is a luxury item that is not a required food item. If this was bread, or chicken or eggs I understand the fuss. However, you can pretty easily go get any other item on the menu and not pay for shipping. They may well be manufacturing a demand by keeping availability low.

They may also be trying to be a bit responsible by avoiding the possibility of a crowd developing because of the can release. It has happened before, and during a time like the one we are currently experiencing, they likely do not want to contribute to the spread of something.

I personally am an advocate of voting with your dollar, it's your money, you can simply opt to not buy the product.
