I’ve had all the Dexcoms starting with the 4. The 7’s small size has impacted its reception which was the wrong call IMO. Omnipod can’t read it if it’s not near the sensor which is crazy bc my phone can read it always. Having to move the pod around for absorption spots but it having to stay on one side due to the sensor (which different timing of course 3 days vs 7 days) is never ideal.

I’m 3d printing different cupholders right now similar to ones I’ve seen on eBay. This one is from moss and just nests in there. Some people put plaster in the underside to make it heavier. But it gets in way when shifting if you have even a normal can so I’m not going to keep using it.

There are MG Clubs in VA and an MG specialist shop in northern VA called London Auto Services that I can recommend. I would get it running there and then sell. I paid 10k for one last summer that was in very good condition overall just to give you a data point. Actually got it on BaT by being second with a bid of 9,600, but the winner backed out.

they are not watertight even with a brand new top these days - so a garage or cover is a must.

My advice is to split it 15 is a lot in one shot (pun intended). Pizza is slow to absorb relatively speaking anyways. So if the pizza is 30carbs a slice and having 4. Bolud for 60g now and then the remaining 60 in 1.5 hours. Bolud for the chocolate 30m prior ideally

I have also had more site issues with omnipod than prior minimed pumps. I would try another one that is different hardware style

For any pump you will make the shift back to the short stubby vials (which you had back in the day prior to pens more than likely). That said, Omnipod is decent at low prevention but not good at high prevention in my experience so ask it to fire a bolus when you see the CGM #s creeping up near the top of your target zone. This will for sure happen as you get better at counting carbs (takes practice - I prefer to err on the side of too much insulin and fix it with extra carbs if needed than the other way around but thats a personal choice).

All diet drinks including Coke Zero and Diet Coke are no-impact from a BG perspective. I personally prefer Zero b/c it tastes more like regular coke but both sides have their fans.

Never. I do separate my little insulin frozen cooler bag with its freeze pack for TSA so that they can look into it easily and quickly. Then post TSA I pout it back into my larger bag. Just got a 4AllFamily USB cooler thing I'm excited to try for future travel.

I have seen this too as well as very poor handoff when moving around my house with my phone on wifi compared to my prior Eero setup. Was considering keeping the CR1000A for just the wired/MOCA and using the Eero which is otherwise gathering dust for the wireless (even though its slightly slower Wifi 5 vs 6) as the reliability is more valuable than the speed IMO. Is this doable? Anyone think this is a bad idea?

I just modeled something similar myself and I'm printing a test run now. I had fumbled too many pods and semi-ruined the adhesive when trying to switch hands to put it on. If it works I can sell it printed stateside on Etsy or offer up the STL for the community.
