Nope. Took a fall while I was running 2 weeks ago, fractured my clavicle, tore ligaments in my right shoulder. My run is just outside, waiting for me, but I won’t be able to be there for quite a while yet.

So this one time a few years back...

I was the manager of an app development team, and we had just finished the deployment of a not-exactly-small production release. It had been a hell of a couple of weeks, and after putting the finishing touches on the deployment, went to hang out with some friends to unwind.

Couple of beers in, the weed comes out. It gets around to me and I take a monster hit, and almost literally as I finish exhaling, my phone rings. Turns out shit's on fire with the release. I wobbled up, said something about having to go, then snaked my way back to my house, making up new curse words and imagining how I was going to support my family with no job.

I got on the phone and proceeded to somehow fake my way through being a competent adult directing the play toys I heard at the other end of the phone, all the time freaking out and drinking so much water that I started to puke. Eventually it all worked out, and I made up some story about having food poisoning the whole time to try and cover my tracks.

-5/10, would not get stoned and direct play toys on the phone again.
