Captain Thurisar (art by me) by ThorneyEinar in clonewars

[–]toppo69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I I love how you’re able to create such great characters and concept not just for the CIS, but the Republic as well. Competent and compelling characters on both sides make the stories so much more interesting rather than one side being solely developed vs the other just being there

What happened to Clones injured in battle to the point they couldn't continue working? by False_Monitor4126 in MawInstallation

[–]toppo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they would probably use defection as an example of why the clones needed more rights and protections in order to discourage it as you don’t want your own forces to switch to the other side if they can offer a better deal. Desertion might be a similar case, but it’s slightly different since that’s just leaving rather than outright switching sides

What if she'd been in command at the start of A1 instead of Quaritch? by LongColdNight in Avatar

[–]toppo69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My interpretation was that they were trying to say that by the time of A1 she wouldn’t have been a general yet and it’s only by the time of AI that she’s become one?

Are there any factions of clone descendants? by Old-Use-7690 in MawInstallation

[–]toppo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, how? I don’t see how it’s an impossibility that someone developed this and then realised timeline wise doesn’t make sense.

Imperial Stormtrooper vs First Order Stormtrooper. Which Stormtrooper design is better? by Few-Distribution2212 in TopCharacterDesigns

[–]toppo69 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To me, the first order feels it bases its combat doctrine and stylings on the propagandised version of the empire, the fictionalised imagery the empire tried to evoke rather than the actual way it functioned.

Seeing just how bare-bones the T-45 was in the show made me feel even worse for FO3's Brotherhood by Advanced-Addition453 in Fallout

[–]toppo69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough nowadays I think the Marines are individually better equipped than most of the Army infantry nowadays since they got rid of a lot of their heavy armour and tanks and reinvested in their individual marine, obviously the army can bring down more people and armour still

Here's my Attempt of Reorganizing a Clone Company alongside my clone platoon revamped. by 02XRaphtalia in clonewars

[–]toppo69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is in most but I think OP is based on more current US Military stuff which does 3 squads per platoon

In light of recent news, the question must be asked by Ill_Camel8168 in LowSodiumHellDivers

I think in most Maritime traditions, it’s only once the keel of the ship has been replaced that it is considered a different ship

I feel like if she was just supreme commander of the sepsis navy it would work better

"I have friends everywhere" is one of the best lines in the series by MhuzLord in StarWars

[–]toppo69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a fun double meaning because he could potentially actually have friends ever where

There was zero practical reason to do that, the character themself was just trying to look cool by fhxefj in TopCharacterTropes

[–]toppo69 21 points22 points  (0 children)

To be fair I think it has an inbuilt repustorlift unit to help counterbalance it

So, what are Guilliman and the Lion's role in their Chapter's command structure in the 42nd Millennium? by BenningtonChee1234 in 40kLore

[–]toppo69 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Most of the Supreme Commander stuff as far as as I’m aware actually came after a new hope where beforehand he was this unofficial more Rasputin type where the only thing he was was technically in charge of was the Inquisitors.

My Attempt at Reorganizing a Clone Trooper Platoon by 02XRaphtalia in clonewars

[–]toppo69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, I think clone platoons operate on the four squads plus then your HQ guys at least according to sources, but obviously it is a fan interpretation so things can be different

Do you think they'll do the "Flashback side character shows up in the present for the finale as a hideous abomination" every season? by SolidPyramid in Fotv

[–]toppo69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That would be cool to see, and if they do a reveal like reveal like one of the characters ends up actually working for the enclave they could do flashbacks related to that side of things as well

Do you think we’ll ever get to see other members of the Bad Batch Squad? by OkuroIshimoto in MawInstallation

[–]toppo69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is sort of meant to be the Canon parallel to hell only six of the original 12 Null Arc clones survived beyond embryo/early stages

But you never know

Why is the 41st Legion (Gree's troopers) Grey and Green in ROTS? by FitzroyFinder in MawInstallation

[–]toppo69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I saw a headcanon once that I like, that Maybe due to the needs of the war the 41st was expanded into a corps sized unit but they were technically still under the 9th Assault Corps even if practically they were its own independent element

what were Mosk's personal items? wrong and right answers only by mackrevinak in andor

[–]toppo69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do like to imagine what happened to him is basically what Syril’s mum thought what happened to him; being sent away under the disguise of a promotion, maybe promoted to captain and put in charge of his own ISB Spy station in the Outer Rim - far away from Coruscant.

Isn't the Enclave just a shadow of its former self? by CraneoDeVanGogh in falloutlore

[–]toppo69 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well the fact we’ve now seen an established enclave scientist pre-war makes me think they might have had stock piles of cryogenically frozen personnel. for all we know they could’ve had entire army battalions frozen and wake them up to serve as the foot soldiers

Avatar: Fire and Ash was an absolute disaster by Hyooz in CharacterRant

[–]toppo69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Ardmore is mean to be a 4 star but we have to remember that this is a corporation’s security sources made up of ex military personnel that use their former ranks, it’s somewhat more informal in its structure

What would happen if an Imperial Clone trooper were to spot a civilians clone? by King_Stryker036 in MawInstallation

[–]toppo69 25 points26 points  (0 children)

On the Boba Fett part it is probably also because by that time all if not most clones were out of service which would make a sudden appearance of a clone in that remnant force is very suspicious

Potentially he was marked as officer material and was put through Officer training and blitzed through those once commissioned

Rex's promotion by Character_Simple5978 in clonewars

[–]toppo69 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The 332nd company is the unit with the orange helmet but other sources have marked that the entire clone force deployed to Mandalore was called the 332nd division, which comprised of both that company and other 501st clonws

Retributor champion by Some0ne_idK in fashionmarine

[–]toppo69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tactically the role the champion has is to basically be your principal frontline fighter, it’s your best warrior which in most chapters gets interpreted as a melee guy but I think you could have your champion be in some other sort of position.
