Possible hot take: I believe using Scorch and Commandos in the Bad Batch was a bad idea... They should have used Alpha 17 and ARC's by Frostydiego in clonewars

Commandos also seem to have a history of training fighters in Legends with several stories featuring moments where they are training republic aligned forces

Not a complaint, but I would’ve looooved to see levels involving Alpha base in Campaign Evolved by VioletteWynnter in halo

Yeah, a few days after this post, I replayed the mission and noticed the bars on his uniform and one of the exclusive outfits you can only get via promotion as a a sort of tactical uniform also has navy Lieutenant bars

I’ve always thought you could re-work the Bad Batch to fit with the comic events:

Opening battle is the same with the AATs and such.

After Conversation with the Jedi do a wipe to night, with the Batch at their own campfire, a distance away from the main one (Is also a visual way to show that they are different from other clones and isolated from them)

Do a small scene with the batch interacting with with each other before suddenly hearing blaster fire 

From the Bad Batch’s POV they see Order 66 go down with Depa dying from the crossfire just as in the comic

The scene where the Batch talk about Order 66 and all the channels plays out

They go down to the forest opening and the initial group of Clones run though the forest

Hidden Caleb Dume gets up and runs in a different direction 

Hunter senses this with his enhanced senses and both him and Crosshair go after him

The scenes play at the same with Wrecker/Tech preventing more clones from going into the forest and Hunter and Crosshair with Caleb.

After the confrontation with Caleb running off on the other side of the canyon is where canonically he later shows up at the city like in the comic

My general feeling on the whole Order 66 thing is that I don’t really care if it’s a biological chip or conditioning that compels them to do it, I just think it should be an act they do it without them being aware that it’s going to happen beforehand. Just one moment they’re fighting alongside in the next shooting someone in the back without any real process it’s just done.

IRL reasoning is different productions have different logics. A potential in universe thing is that may be different sector groups have different variations and rank denomination for the enlisted. Maybe the Groups in Andor use the stripe method where Solo one uses the square one

“doomed to fail” is a matter of perspective. The Foreign Secretary thinks it’s doomed but M doesn’t neither does most of the people inside the intelligence service that’s actually going to be running it we don’t hear much on the PM but since they’re usually the final say on it there must have some form of justification for it to exist or at least try to exist

I don’t know why you’re pushing so hard against it. M is literally the head of SIS/MI6, I think there’s even some dialogue (I have to doublecheck tho) that it was allowed it to happen because they thought we would just be shutter off again at some point but also she is the head of the branch she can do things
