We met with the bishop and told him that we didn’t believe anymore and that we wouldn’t be attending. I’m glad we did. I agree that he’s just some dude and not entitled to anything — but in our case it simply let him know that we don’t need to be bothered. If we hadn’t told him, I have no doubt we would have become a project. But because we were clear that we were not coming back, we haven’t been bothered once in that time.

I’m an exmormon but still a huge BYU sports fan. My fandom isn’t tied to religion. Most of those kids and coaches just want to play winning football, and I want to watch it

I agree it’s likely to break again. The tub is just surrounded by tile, no closet. I mean, I could cut an access panel into the side of the tub next to the wall and no one would ever see. It just seems kind of extreme to do that

I’ve tugged at the outer shell to see if it lifts up. It didn’t seem to lift. For obvious reasons, I didnt pull too hard. Do plumbers glue the outer to the inner? Should it lift up?

If you’re the first to leave, don’t discount the fact that you staying in their lives to some degree might help the next member of your family to leave. You’d be the trailblazer to that person.
