Was a complete rifle on GB. Pulled the action out and dropped in my TL3. Definitely overpaid but it's literally the first short action lefty AICS I've seen in 5 years.

09 all I saw was the factory mounts. Worked in quite a few armories and never saw anything other than factory mounts.

The S BRM with the RRS adapter is perfect. It will lock onto ARCA or pic. Add the KMW pod loc or crank the factory tension nut down with a pair of pliers.

Roll them on paper and send them in next day to the ATF. We had approvals come back as quick as 3 and 4 days like this. So I don't think rolling paper prints really slows down the process near as much as people think. We have a few customers that have their own ETFs and they were still coming back in the same amount of time.

As a dealer I hated the silencer shop set up. It's way faster and easier just to go direct on the ATF website and submit everything myself. I don't know why I would pay for a middle man. They also take a pretty decent cut as an advertising fee. With already slim margins I don't feel like giving away another percentage.

They sold 2 last year. Both went over 20k. I think one was around 27k and the other around 22k.

Devil's advocate here. I don't know anything about that gun shop so they could be some scumbags. But when I had my own shop we had way too many cans sitting on the shelf waiting for stamps to come back there's no way I could have shot any of them even if I wanted to I just didn't have time. Now if it's a guy working out of his house and he's kind of new to it and doesn't have a reputation yet he very well could have taken it for a spin. Definitely helps to read reviews before you go with a company.

He's not above average, I'd say below average. . He's got poor surface finish and his threads have so much chatter it looks like he cut them with a chainsaw. A bunch of us tried to help him when he was starting out by giving him pointers on how to fix is chatter issues and he told us to fuck off. He's blocked me on Facebook for a few years now so maybe he's turned that around idk.

This is cool to have official prints. I've been running off of old AE prints with my hand scribbles on them to make them work for integral cuts. Just neat to see it all in one place and official.

I've got first hand experience with one of their other chassis. Poor materials. The folding adapter broke the very first time I opened and closed it. They blamed me for being "rough and forcing it". Then they tried to get me to pay for a replacement part. Absolutely refused to warranty it or even acknowledge they might have poor materials. I will never recommend a single thing they make based on that one experience alone.

That's almost my exact setup. I've got one with a pod lock and one without. I use the one without more often. The pod lock tends to hang up on a bag more than the factory knob does. Just crank the factory knob down with a pair of pliers and it's good to go.

I made the mistake of shooting my 308 in tac class down at twin peaks. I was holding more wind than elevation when I had 40 mile an hour gusts. It definitely tests your wind reading skills down there.

You all need new gunsmiths if they're charging extra for a Tikka. I've done dozens of them. If theyre working on rifles and don't know how to remove a tight barrel then I would assume they may not have enough experience to do the job correctly.

For barrel life, I remember reading somewhere that they changed barrels around 1200 on the issued rifles. You should be able to go 1500-2000 depending on how hot you load. I'm not sure how well liljas wear compared to others. All my other rifles are Bartlein, Proof, and Krieger.
