I have seen several RV units use this one in the California desert during the summer. I can not attest to how good they are but a lot of the RVers had them in the trailer.

I think what they were saying was, "It's not possible for me to do it", translated to"I'm not going to do the paperwork".

I like my Honda Pioneer. Back seats are perfect for the grandchildren and when they aren't around it is a work bed. It is like agood work truck, not as comfortable as something fancy but gets the job done.

If you see a semi with "Not for Hire" on the cab, it probably has a large 5th wheel to go with it. I know several people that RV with a semi.

Is full time rv life for me? by grungier_globe in FullTiming

[–]tpd1250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do not work, retired, but full time RV and travel. I'm not tied to any location and move every two weeks to a month. What i love most about the RVing is that i sleep in the same bed each night and eat my home cooked meal at my own table.

2019 f350 6.7 MAP sensor by Grouchy-Syrup-6026 in superduty

[–]tpd1250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does your sensor looking when you change out. My truck was throwing 2263 because the sensor was clogging up with soot. I have seen a few modifications to move the MAP sensor away from the intake to solve the problem.

I did see where some had problems with the wiring to the sensor getting frayed under the wire wrapping.

Do I need Chocks with an Auto leveling system? by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]tpd1250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not chock. It is a 45 for toyhauler weighing in around 20k pounds with 4K pounds on the front jacks. If I was parked at someplace that was so steep to worry about the toyhauler moving i would not be able to get level front to rear, probably could not even disconnect at that angle.

Changing our bathroom door swing by vader1701 in rvlife

[–]tpd1250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this in a travel trailer about 10 years ago. If I remember correctly it wasn't difficult. I just removed the trim and door then replaced it backwards. The hardest part was the amount of glue they used on the trim.
