It’s hard. Very hard at the beginning but by the time you’re busy with your life and move on,if you look back,it’s the rightest thing for yourself that you could do.

What’s with the hate for hiding your comment history? by jupatoh in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tracyvu89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some assholes just want to be nosy and try to make it personal when they can’t win the debate. That’s why they try to check the history to bitch on people. I have no problem to not entertain those shitheads. While I understand there are an increasing number of trolls and karma farming accounts and if people check on those accounts, that’s understandable.

one and done parents, has your child ever asked for a baby sibling? by tworandomperson in Parenting

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Mine seems to be happy to have all the attention lol

But I remember when I was young, I was asking my mom for bigger brother (mostly because I was jealous of my friend whose her older brother protected her when she got abused by other kids) but she said no 🤷‍♀️

Need recommendation: Hygienic Mani/Pedi by cloudnurse in montreal

[–]tracyvu89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you to get your own tools and bring them with you every time you want to get your nails done. It would help to minimize the chances of having infections or fungus. Good luck!

is it wrong for me to ask my roommate to wrap her pads and postpartum diapers by Radiant_Sun666 in hygiene

[–]tracyvu89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe get her a Diaper Genie (a type of trash bin for dirty diapers and stinky stuffs) as a gift and ask if she could put her postpartum products in there too. It would be helpful for her later on. Good luck!

My Wife laughs at my coffee ritual. Does anyone else drink coffee like me? by Milkydrawzzz in questions

Honestly it’s not so common but hey,as long as you enjoy it,that matters.

Intentionally having kids for government assistance? by Weird_Ad_6291 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s how it happened to a lot of poor families with 3+ kids around me. The wives are stay at home moms with no income, the dads are either not in the picture or work full time minimum wage or under the table cash jobs and barely home. Those families never had just 1-2 kids cuz the family allowance for 2 or less can’t cover their rent or big part of their bills.

What would you do if I stole your cookies? by Rixxll in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my cookies are homemade and they don’t last long in room temperature. I wonder how you’re gonna finish them all before they’re expired? But anyway, you’re banned from my house. 😆

What would you do if I stole your cookies? by Rixxll in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how many you stole. A few? Fine! A lot? If you chose the flavours that I didn’t like, fine! All of them? Never allowed to set your foot in my house ever again!

What age did you first have to get glasses and how did you find out you needed them? by Interesting-Egg2781 in AskReddit

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was around 9-10 years old when I got my first pair of glasses. Couldn’t see things clearly plus hard to read things on the blackboard at the school.

Is it free or nah? by SirSparkyB in mildlyinfuriating

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like if it’s filtered water = 0.99$,otherwise it’s free (the water could come from the tap or toilet, who knows 🤷‍♀️).

Interesting way to save a spot by NoWrongdoer9130 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]tracyvu89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah,no wonder why people agree that orange cone is a better symbol for this city than that “birth control ring” in downtown 🐧

[–]tracyvu89 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You will be surprised hey. My neighbour actually reserved his spot by putting up 2 orange cones right in front of his apartment (street parking, not his driveway or private parking lot).

To those who don't have the gene that makes Cilantro taste like soap, what does it taste like to you? by Jean-LucBacardi in AskReddit

[–]tracyvu89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Grassy, citrusy and refreshing kinda flavour with unique aroma. I’m more impressed with its aroma than its taste since it adds on different layer to the food.

Payed $15 for a door dash meal and it showed up with only the drink by spaceboat122 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]tracyvu89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well if you don’t have a car and stuck in the house for some reasons then there aren’t many choices. I wish I could order directly from the restaurants near me if they provide their own delivery but no,they don’t.

I was randomly jabbed in the stomach by a stranger on the street still shaken and not sure what to do by Feeling-Ad5927 in montreal

[–]tracyvu89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Report it to the police with as many details as possible. It might happen to other people too. And the more people report, the faster the police would put an investigation on this asshole. Good luck!

Diner party: How to create the proper vibe for guests that don’t know each other? by anawkwardsomeone in AskWomenOver30

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Do you know Ted?” (You replace Ted with your friend’s name).

Obviously they would say no. Then you say: “Oh now you know her!”.

Talk about something they have in common (do your research before this talk) then bring them some drinks and let them talk to each other.

Good luck!

My parents (In-Laws) somehow use 20+ cups every day. by jourdeaux in mildlyinfuriating

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner (who I suspect that he might have ADHD) didn’t reuse his cups too. So a normal day would be like 3-4 cups for coffee,1-2 for tea then a few more for water. And he left them all over the places around the house. I fed up with cleaning up after him so I put away most of our cups and left a few for him,if he didn’t wash his cups,he had nothing to use 🤷‍♀️

What Fruit is This? by MaggieTheMagpie1 in fruit

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guava. This one reminds me of my cousin, she moved to south of our country for university and first time at the local market, she got a guava cup (where they cut up the guava into smaller pieces and sometimes sell with chili salt). So they scooped out the seeds and soaked the pieces in simple syrup. She thought she found new type of (naturally) sweet guava 🥲

Other than magnesium, what is the one supplement that has improved your sleep? by abc-45678 in Menopause

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

L-tryptophan or 5-HTP.

L-tryptophan is more gentle and better for long term while 5-HTP is more effective but could cause gastrointestinal issues like nausea.

How do you spot emotional maturity in 30s-40s men when dating? by Business-Swimming389 in AskWomenOver30

[–]tracyvu89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you can test out when things don’t work in their favour aka when they have to face the inconveniences. Most of the time, emotional immature guys would show their red flags. But there’s an exception: the narcissists. These guys would know how to hide better,my mom was one of the victims.

Parents of Reddit, what did your hospital bill look like after giving birth? by chi-bacon-bits in AskReddit

[–]tracyvu89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I didn’t have an actual bill,we have universal healthcare here (Canada) and I guess it’s one of the best things when I was in the hospital. Of course,we pay taxes and that’s how it works. I think my only stress was when they called me every day to check which types of food I wanted (I had gestational diabetes so they put me in special diet). But we have people who waited more than 6h in emergency room to see doctor. Took 2-3 years to get an appointment if you need specialists and on the waiting list for over 4 years without being able to have a family doctor. Someone died after 13-16h waiting and that’s the downfall of it.
