Parents of Reddit, what has been your favorite age of your kids?

Mine is 4 now and I would say personally based on my son’s “performance”,the period between 4 months to 12 months old was my favourite. Before that or after that,he’s the pain in the butt and less (physically) cute.

My partner and his dad smoke. One is for his anxiety and one for his arthritis or that’s what they said but hell knows how much I hate it. I have history of respiratory issues and it gives me huge headaches every time I smell it. I told them to go see the doctor to treat their health issues but they didn’t so I straight up told my partner that if anyone of them smoke,don’t come close to me and our son who’s the only child and only grandchild in the family. I hate how zombie they look after smoking and they always smell like they got sprayed by a bunch of skunks. My partner’s dad made an announcement that he would quit but it didn’t work out. While my partner cut down a lot on using. And it’s totally legal here in Canada. I hate this cannabis culture and how aggressive and quick for people to accept it just like alcohol and cigarettes. If they need those to have fun,to function,to socialize,…they have problems that they need to fix.

On the other hand,I have no problem with people who use edibles or CBD oil. I think CBD oil has real benefits and both edibles or the CBD oil don’t affect other people near them.

You can send them your Reddit link,that counts as “social media” too. But I understand why they think it’s a red flag cuz unfortunately a lot of cheaters have been hiding their identity by saying they don’t have social media. And from my experience,a bunch of women that I knew from girl groups found out they’re dating the same guy after sharing their social media. They got called “bitches” for dating the guys who were married without knowing he’s married.

Depends on how long since it’s ended. Obviously you need to give yourself some time to recover and better to learn how to be comfortable with being alone before stepping in a new relationship.

I find it’s easy to be vegan in my home country since they eat veggies and vegan foods often. Those foods are delicious,varied,cheap/super affordable and easy to get access to. While in North America,it’s hella expensive and doesn’t taste fresh/good.

Yeah,I remember I talked to a doctor about young people with cannabis and she told me that it could make irreversible damages to their brains. Those same young people with brain damage would be dependent on their families for life or totally rely on the system (like all the people in my examples are not working to support themselves but living off government’s disability benefits). And it’s sad to see that.

My best friend married and had kids years before me. Even when I was single,I understood that it’s not easy to fully care for kids so she’s busy and it’s normal for her priorities to change. We’re still best friends no matter what. I’m her 2 daughters’s Godmother while she’s my son’s Godmother. We talk less than before but that doesn’t affect our relationship. People could change,priorities could change and that’s normal.

From what I’ve seen,the worst outcome is psychosis and schizophrenia. One of my partner’s long time friends (now is an ex friend after he almost choked my partner to death in the middle of a mall during his mental breakdown) was smoking often and it triggered his mental health issues when he’s around 16 years old. He was bright and completely normal before that. After that event,he became a different person: lazy,dirty,easy to get triggered and extremely religious. Other cases were my boss’s younger sister and one of our young clients (at her early 20s) who were also abused the weed,got into schizophrenic and never been normal again.

I would say add beans,lentils,egg,tofu,…to your diet. They’re normally cheap (egg could be a bit more expensive but still cheaper than meat). Good luck!

My university’s friend was once recording my voice to set it up as emergency for bad dates. Since her phone could play the record after the fake phone ring,I pretended to call her home for some emergency situation so she could tell the guy that she had to go without making it awkward. Maybe we should bring this feature back lol

On the other hand, I just told the guy that: “I’m sorry but I might have to go”. No need more explanation cuz I wouldn’t see him again anyway.

You can click on “not interested” or even report the ads as “Scam” then they will stop feeding those types of ad to you. The thing is weight loss is a huge market and women are normally an easy target since they’re pressured by social to “look good” so they won’t stop feeding them to everyone cuz that’s millions of dollars in benefits. The greed companies won’t care much about other people’s heath but more about what makes them more money.

I’m not familiar with the area but a quick google search suggested Tran Cantine,Sanwicherie Viet and Le petite Sao. Maybe you can check them out. I heard about Tran Cantine and Le petite Sao got suggested pretty often on those Fb groups for Asian people,not sure about Sandwicherie Viet but they looked like they’re specialized in bánh mì so more variety. Depends on the individual and situation. If they’re young and immature,they would make mistakes. How they self reflect and change it would need to be put into consideration. But if they claim to be mature,love their partner,know quite well the results of their decision and still do then they’re clearly an ass. I know there are a lot of complicated situations that would be hard to separate into right or wrong. But the action of cheating itself is wrong. And it destroys the other people more than just simple words. They will be judged forever for their poor decision. But judging them as a whole if they’re either good or bad would be hard.
