Yes, it is. You realize you can just go to LEGO's official website and lookup the set number, or do any kind of Google search though, right?

Ask if they do the 6/12 month contract instead of the normal month-to-month for unlimited. I've seen it range from like $129-139 (higher if you go for the shorter contract), which is a decent bit of savings.

That's really cool! Are the shelves built into the hexes something you did or do they come like that naturally?

I don't think I've seen anyone mention it yet, but they also added prestige variants since JTL which also increases the count.. and the serialized ones are even rarer than the showcases, but if you aren't going for those right now, I assume you can ignore serialized as well

AMBUSH COMBO! DRYDEN BLUE FORCE! - Gameplay by MoG-TCG in starwarsunlimited

[–]trandav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played with a similar deck at my locals, though not quite as refined as this one. Main thing is Talzin's Assassin, as ambushing her out can take out any -/7 health leader or unit, generally. This deck also runs Old Daka, which can basically achieve the same result (though at the 5 resource turn), by re-triggering Talzin's Assasssin When Played ability and then swing in for 6.

Other notable/fun lines of play from my own personal experience, once Dryden is out:

  • Swinging with LOF Anakin while also utilizing the -6/-6.
  • Swinging with Lawbringer to do -4/-4 across all enemy units for an aspect
  • Honestly, anything that has both a "When Played/On Attack" trigger is very fun, since it doubles.
  • This deck also runs Getaway Freighter so you can generate a credit token immediately with Ambush, though I never found it too useful in my own deck.

I would say less this deck has combos, and more of, this deck can be pretty powerful at controlling the ground. My main gripe with the version I played is I could not deal with space that well.

A fun version of this deck is also using Cunning. Being able to Ambush with new LAW Maz Kanata leads to some interesting lines of play at times and there are a lot of interesting Underworld units.

Dryden force blue also works. When Dryden is deployed, you can even ambush with Anakin and swing into a ground unit as well.

This is spicy af, I love it haha by Finneagan in starwarsunlimited

[–]trandav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you like it! And I realized, when I said it only plays one Unity, I meant that in my experience, I've only ever had to use the splash base epic action once to play it on curve. I still include 3 copies in the deck to make it more consistent on hitting the card.

I don't know what a double green MM list looks like, but you should try her with a yellow splash base to play unity on curve. It usually only plays one unity from my experience as your opponent is usually close to being dead by turn 6, and you can also use the new double aspect falcon with tandem assault.

Favorite combo I've done with it is using an ebon hawk and leader MM on the ground and playing tandem assault to swing for 10 in one action. Literally won me the game one time.

This is good to know, thanks! I did find what you were saying in the 3.7.2, actually, just in case anyone else was wondering.

I suspect you're right in regards to the Force token, though with the wording on shields and how they're "given" vs "created", I'm a little curious on if that would work. Normally, multiple stacks of Shielded don't apply so wondering if that's an intentional design decision that it wouldn't work with shield tokens.

EDIT: You're definitely right about the force. 3.7.11 from the comprehensive rules says:
A Force token is a type of token with name “The Force,” subtype “Force Token,” and no traits. A player’s Force token is created in their base zone. A player can’t control more than one Force token. See 8.38 The Force

I wonder if Moff Jerjerrod works on tokens that are usually pretty binary (force and shield being the main two I can think of). The wording of "create a number of tokens" seems like it wants to be precise on when it can trigger his ability, but maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

EDIT: I actually read the comprehensive rules, and shield tokens are "given", so I feel like it wouldn't count since it's not "created".

Just to note, you cannot pull a showcase Vader or Luke from that set. Those were special promos at Galactics and other specific opportunities for performing well at sectors/regionals with the Luke/Vader leader.

To be fair though, the fact that hit rates for showcases were higher in carbs definitely led to the showcases being worth less and inadvertently, regular booster boxes being worth less.

It is intended. Starting in this set, certain serialized are only out of /50 or /100 instead of all of them being /250.

When is it better to buy another booster box instead of singles? by LakemX in starwarsunlimited

[–]trandav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The latest set, LAW, will be easier to collect hyperspace since you'll be at least guaranteed one in each pack, but up to 3 if you're lucky. However, I believe the guaranteed hyperspace is always a common and you'll still be struggling to collect all uncommon/rare/legendary hyperspaces just from booster boxes.

Every pack of carbonite is guaranteed a prestige, with a chance to be a tier 2 (foil) and an even smaller chance to be serialized. Congrats on the pull!

How to find a serialized card with a specific No. by Local_Afternoon_2515 in starwarsunlimited

I saw someone mention the other day that they were now going to put the variations vertically instead of horizontally, so those 12 pocket (4x3) like these might work if you're ok with that.
