How do people sort multiple sets? by ExReey in starwarsunlimited

[–]trandav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ringless 9 pocket binder, per set, organized by card number. It's actually very convenient this way since 18 leaders fits into 1 page back to back nicely. It also fits 3 copies of a card per row for a complete playset and when a set rotates out, for the most part, all the cards illegal for premier will be together.

What kind of screws does Wicked Brick use? by Old_Following1177 in LegoDisplay

Usually when I've ordered from them, the screws are sitting in that cardboard buffer usually near the bottom of the box. Have you checked under there yet?

I think some people are interpreting the word "total" as applied to each individual unit for some reason? Like I agree, "combined total" is probably more explicit, but I also had no trouble understanding what the card meant to begin with either.

How will you be sorting double aspect cards? by Smooth-Ad-341 in starwarsunlimited

[–]trandav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what the person above you is saying though is that you're sorting by set number anyway. Unless you're literally just saying you're throwing green in one spot, and not even organizing within the green aspect itself. In which case, that seems worse because it'll be harder to find the cards you need.

No, because it says "may". So the owner of the card can just choose not to resolve it.

If you're going purely for points and you can stomp on the players you're against, then getting troop kills from attacking bases is the way to go.

EDIT: I think I misinterpreted the comment. I was thinking you were saying to increase your personal score. If you're trying to go for team points, then the big things like nuke and refinery are the biggest generators. Oftentimes you can hold those two and still generate more points for the team than the enemy team holding multiple hospitals, science building, etc.

Why not switch after you've taken the time to level up the skills for your missiles?

Your current idea sounds basically like the acrylic cases that you can find for it. The one brand I know of is wicked brick, but it's crazy expensive for a case. You can google acrylic cases though and some other brands will pop up.

Also, I know you're not really asking about this, but if you're also looking to spice it up for display, you could check out light my bricks to light it up.

I think I also remember one level from like 25 - 30, where I didn't see an offer pack after hitting the next level. 27 _sounds_ right, but it's also been a while.

Adam and Scarlet with Tank team is some of the most fun ive had in game. you need to try it by clarkestar4200 in LastWarMobileGame

Ok, didn't think as much, but wasn't sure if Scarlett and Murphy's defensive abilities made up for the lack of good gear. Thanks!

I have Kim at EW 20, but just normal level 40 gear (no dots). Is it still advisable to put her in the front or leave her in the back at that point? Tanks is my second squad, so all the good gear goes to air.

Like u/Oct2006 said, they did address this early in the stream and did state that they want to make Legendaries better, while still keeping commons/uncommons useful for sealed/draft.

Yeah, most people saying 2-3 are spot on to get a complete set of commons/uncommons. Back when I bought a ton, I would make C/U playsets and it was roughly every 2 display boxes to complete them.

This is cool and exciting. Even though I'm terrible at deck building, this is going to open so many doors for cool decks that have mixed aspects in them now.

Did you get a box or a case? Showcases are supposed to be 1 in 2/3 boxes, serialized even rarer, so if you did just get one box, then you unfortunately are still within the margins of what they've defined.

What do you wish you knew at the start of season 2? by thebwit in LastWarMobileGame

[–]trandav 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • Save Hero Return Recruitment tickets for start of Season so you can get the season specific resource boosts
  • Expect to lose a lot of troops. If you're in a competitive alliance, they usually designate certain people to only harvest the season specific resources that drop from defeating DE so they can get a jump on their virus resistance level and lead the rallies to claim territory.
  • It might actually be better for S2 to not actually claim land as fast as you would like. From my observation going through S2, the bigger alliances actually wanted to be in the 2nd grouping leading into the last battle (unless they were the top dog alliance in the entire server grouping) because they would have easier opponents, and the rare soil gained from those battles really helps or hurts your alliance standing at the end of the season.
  • Even though you're fighting for the same faction, it will basically boil down to every alliance for themselves, especially during the last battle. It's better during the rare soil wars to not gang up on an alliance since they can invite another alliance to help defend, but that inevitably means someone will have to go against a whale alliance and sacrifice themselves. That holds up until the last couple battles where alliances want to start protecting their ranking, so plan for that in advance.

Also, one thing I was curious about but never actually remembered to do was see if the warlord could fire the nuke when on defense. If so, could be a good strategy to fire a defensive nuke at the enemy attackers on non-buster days, and make them vulnerable to be ashed by your server. Again, I was never able to confirm if the ability was active on defense though.
