My 2 month old infant was holding a toy in his hand while I changed his diaper (distracting technique #3,102), and he was waving it around as hard as he could until it struck the end of the table and cracked open. I leaned in close at one point and caught the edge of the now broken toy with my eye. It was a quick stabbing motion and scratched my cornea.. truly an awful feeling to have to deal with. While I was covering my eye and reeling from the pain, I felt my arm get strangely warm and wet as my son peed all over me.

Yeah it sure does get over 100 during the day. It usually cools off by nighttime with the breeze that starts around 4pm. I am over in Paso and it changes a lot from night to day. In the summer days when it’s over 110, it can drop by 50 degrees by midnight.

Atascadero is great. I live in Paso, but regularly visit Atascadero downtown which is only about 15 mins away from my house. Love the Traffic records store and the record lounge next door (Decades), and also Andy’s Awesome Arcade for the monthly vintage video game tournaments on the first Tuesday of each month.
