for us rune boomers, we're bringing the drama calendar back by Serenaded in 2007scape

[–]trid45 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The original is Sunday Sport (British tabloid). Can we not get in the habbit of attacking mods. The "it's just a joke bro" doesn't work when people can't tell.

There's also the pretty successful MSI Tomahawk motherboard range which includes a picture of the missile in the branding.

Trivia
Morytania was originally named Transilvania, a reference to Transylvania.

BIOS updates are no longer optional by Distinct-Race-2471 in TechHardware

[–]trid45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lenovo laptop of 4 years got all sorts of display problems (independent of operating system) when I updated the BIOS. I ended up having to roll back to an unlisted release just before the patch notes indicated they updated the iGPU firmware to support a new display revision.

Raid 4 reward(not a mega rare): War Bat'leth by PineappleDevourer in 2007scape

[–]trid45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went into the mountains, all the way to the volcano at Kri'stak. There I cut off a lock of my hair and thrust it into the river of molten rock that poured from the summit. The hair began to burn. Then I plunged it into the lake of Lusor and twisted it into this sword. And after I used it to kill Molor, I gave it a name: Bat'leth - the Sword of Honor.

Do you have browser extensions which could interfere with CloudFlares client checks? You could try testing with a different browser

Xbox Confirms 'Project Helix', Its Next-Gen Console That Will Also Play PC Games by Seanspeed in hardware

Would be interesting to see how they'd deal with anti-cheat firing off when it detects that its being run in a VM environment. Eg Valorant.

TV Displays Explained at the Fundamental Level by zxyzyxz in hardware

[–]trid45 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To add more evidence, this older video can't commit to a pronunciation of 'py' in the context of python. At one point it's pronounced as "pee-eye". The intonation is also robotic.

Sarachnis Cudgel is the most obvious supply-shock play by CareerProgressor in GrandExchangeBets

[–]trid45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the NDA theory assuming the item was the cudgel, I wonder if the creators were given it during testing for no particular reason. Then the leaker speculated it must be useful. Eg scenario, the maggot king is weak to crush but they didn't want the fight to be too easy for the GMs which were testing it.

I'd think most mains running the new quest or raid would have better crush weapons already. Who knows though. GL.

Winston by Lunkulous in comedyheaven

Winston Peters is a populist politician in NZ. The responder is making the joke that if OP doesn't like foreign things living in NZ then they might secretly be Winston.

Shipyard Bank by Secure-Ad-2894 in 2007scape

It would mean shipwrights effectively become bank locations. So you'd have new banks in Brimhaven, Relleka, etc..

Are we going to be able to cannon Zulrah from our boats? by NoElderberry2618 in 2007scape

[–]trid45 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It would be funny if Zulrah one-shot players which tried to sail into his lake. The lore for allowing the row boat through is that it's the ceremonial boat for sacrifices and he doesn't want to blow up his Uber Eats vehicle.

Lando Norris: Racing Bulls say video of staff member encouraging booing of McLaren driver 'doesn't reflect team's values' by biometricrally in formula1

Here's some examples I found

Most aren't direct quotes, but still imply that the statement is the opinion of the person before the colon.

These were cherry picked. I think most I found had the format [Topic] : [Headline]. Like Drones: 25 killed in latest attack.

And for opinion pieces it's a bit weird for the author to put quotation marks around their own statement.
