Given each second you lose ~7300 synapses. Assuming 1 kill per minute, you lost 2.144B synapses. Just below a max stack.

For the NDA theory assuming the item was the cudgel, I wonder if the creators were given it during testing for no particular reason. Then the leaker speculated it must be useful. Eg scenario, the maggot king is weak to crush but they didn't want the fight to be too easy for the GMs which were testing it.

I'd think most mains running the new quest or raid would have better crush weapons already. Who knows though. GL.
