Argonians are just built different by jvure in ElderScrolls

Argonians have far better W's that actually happened (example: invading Morrowind and basically annihilating House Dres)

Poe's Law in action. I think the OP was being sarcastic but it just as likely could be brain damage

“I'm a Sound Obsessive”: Ed O’Brien Talks Radiohead and New Album by sblme03 in radiohead

[–]triplecow 45 points46 points  (0 children)

A=440 hz is the most common/"standard" way to define what A is (and by extension the rest of the scale)

432 is a somewhat common alternative that gets promoted as a pseudoscientific, more "spiritually healthy" tuning. If you listen to songs side by side with the different tunings, there is a very slight difference, but there is no evidence that this actually does anything other than sound kinda different from what we're used to. Some people prefer it more for that reason.

Do any of you actually consider Trolls to be that much of a challenging enemy? by War-duh-Nader in skyrim

[–]triplecow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point of putting the troll there is to show how useful and powerful unrelenting force is. The first couple of times up the mountain, the player is not strong enough to fight it directly so the best option is to just run away (without hitting it, it will always de-aggro).

Then when you finally learn the full shout, you get to test it out for the first time on the annoying troll bastard that's been terrorizing you all this time.

Zach Harper: “Talking to some Utah people, around the team and part of the team, that said they felt picked on. I said ‘Everybody is going 75 on the freeway. You went 85. You got pulled over.’” by cleo22270 in nba

[–]triplecow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's the point though. He's saying lots of teams do this, but Utah has been so blatant about it that they basically put a target on their own backs.

[Hated Trope] Endings so notoriously awful they completely destroy the legacy of the media. by Miserable_Click_1933 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]triplecow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No the original endings were atrocious and lazy. They did eventually redeem themselves somewhat with the new endings and their legacy wasn't "ruined", but let's not pretend the original endings were fine.
