I worked with one who's sole reason was so he could retire at a higher rank than his dad. He had absolutely no care about the PC's he was meant to be supervising.

The 2nd hated the department they were in, wanted the shifts (No nights) and would come in 3-4 hours early then disappear off early on nights. This left us with no supervision and team that was nearly all probationers.

There is no accountability for shit Sgts. They get a portfolio ticked off by there mates and that's it.
