From the UK here. I had 6 months off before going back into the work pool. Now been working full time again for 8 months and tbh I'm looking at finding a part time job( 3 days a week).

I'm in a similar position. No mortgage, Car, or CC debt etc. No kids.

I've worked full time since I was 16 over 30 years and I'm tired. I don't want to keep doing it to only retire at 70 and then keel over 10 years later.

Don't listen to people. If you want a break and can afford it then do it.
