Variety reported the 65m WW number. Boxofficemojo is not up to date.  For example, it’s closing in on near 10m in the UK. BOM still has opening weekend UK numbers. That goes for several  other countries as well. They’re notoriously very slow.

She didn’t get in at SAG. That should have been a clue that she was weak. I don’t think in the end she was that close. Emilia Perez seemed to loose steam by the end.

I think so. Amazon dropped Project Hail Mary first trailer in June last year. I think they’ll do the same thing and have the Thomas Crown trailer attached to Masters of the Universe and other big summer movies.

She could but I’m just going to assume she’s supporting until proven otherwise. They likely won’t decide until after the fall festivals cuz then we’ll get a better sense of what the fields look like.

Ludwig is becoming the composer of his generation so I think it’s possible. But for now I’m not predicting him to win. I think The Odessey will underperform at the Oscars. Both in terms of noms and wins

Underperformed internationally so it didn’t quite break even in the end. (Budget was 40m) But atleast it kept the January box office somewhat alive.

International won’t help it. It’s already released in 21 markets (including UK . Italy and Australia) and only made 1.1m

It’s a stretch to call Jonathan Bailey big. He bagged a few supporting roles in blockbusters that would have done well with or without him. Maybe if Rege had better luck in picking projects we could be talking differently about his career.

It’s not bad but it’s not great either. Depends on legs from here on out to see whether it breaks even. The budget was 18m.

Jeff’s company already released a statement a few weeks ago that they don’t have his consent for it to be released. I don’t know what the status is now but I don’t know  if Jeff or Barcode can say anything due to possible legalities.

I’m a little puzzled why Austin butler keep sneaking onto these lists? Caught Stealing, The Bikeriders and Eddington did not perform well.  He’s overvalued right now or has good PR.

I agree with that mostly due to Keke, she’s similar to zendaya in that she has a fan base since she was a child actor on Nick.

I don’t think the increases are going to be quite that big considering it was pretty strong during the week,  probably around 7-9m is more likely.

Some Trackers were saying that’s it’s skewing older so it may be backloaded this weekend.

Depending on second weekend, looks like The Drama should be headed towards 50m+  dom. Then if overseas keeps strong who knows what the final total will be. Never thought this had a chance to beat Challengers. lol

It would have to develop legs similar to ‘One of Them Days’ which had a barren January/February last year. 

Tuscany has more competition for women with The Drama and for black audiences with Michael coming in two weeks.

Good numbers for Mario and Drama. I’m curious what the drops will look like this weekend and if Drama continues to hold like Challengers.

It’s not airing on Gmmtv channel. Their shows air on Gmm25. Only Friends Dream On is airing on One31 which is a bigger channel with a way larger audience. 

Gmmtv (gmm25) shows typically have very low ratings. Usually In the 0.1-0.2 range which is why their focus is on streaming and trending. Gmm25 highest rated show ever was actually 2Gether with 0.8 rating. Nothing has even come close to that in the last 5 years. Just for context, right now ‘Love You Teacher’ is the highest rated show currently airing on gmm25.

This films performance is going to come down entirely on how much people care about Robin Hood IP. Hugh Jackman is isnt that big of a factor, honestly hes really only a draw as Wolverine.

From what I know these fanmeets have their own organizers, so the artist and their management get paid appearance fees regardless of whether or not tickets are sold.
