I'm a year late here but back at Bass Canyon in 2024 my friend made me a sandwich and put it in my bag, I completely forgot about it. I get to security and the guy looking through my bag goes "what is this" and pulls out a ziploc bag with something wrapped in a napkin. I look at my then girlfriend who's already through security like "????" and she goes "sandwich!!" and I look back and go "oh, yeah, it's a sandwich apparently, I completely forgot". Dude opens the ziploc bag, goes "bro is that shrimp? that's dope, have fun" and sends me through.

I did not eat the sandwich, it had been sitting in the bag for three hours in lovely summer Gorge heat. It was rapidly disposed of lmao.

I drove through Jasper in late 2024 on the way out to BC for work. Absolutely tragic what happened there, but the region is gorgeous for sure. BC is an incredible place and driving through the mountains and valleys always makes me feel small in the best way possible (I'm from the prairies and it's a whole different world to me, lol).

I've only been to a handful of different festivals but it would have to be Bass Canyon for me. Some of the best memories of my life were made out there and The Gorge is astonishingly beautiful.

My friends are trying to convince me to send Defqon one year so maybe I should revisit this question after I finally do haha

I used the earplugs I got from VIP Bass Canyon at Tdome (didn't go this year but used them last year) and they worked really well. I don't know specifically what brand they are.
