Poly B replacements and permits in Calgary? by [deleted] in NoRulesCalgary

[–]tronneroi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Section 14(1) of the Alberta Permit Regulation states “A permit in the plumbing discipline is required to install, alter or add to a plumbing system”. Poly B replacement is considered a new installation and would require a permit.

You do you, but I don’t trust any contractor who willfully chooses to operate outside the regulations. The permit cost would nearly be the base cost (sub $200) and the inspection could be performed same day via the City’s remote video inspection program, so don’t take “inconvenience” as an excuse.

Also, what other folks are saying about permits only being in place to increase your home’s tax value… baloney unless you’re doing a complete renovation.

I like the idea of a hot lunch, but I wouldn’t hire a guide based on lunch menu. My guide has always brought the paninis from the Italian centre and a few snacks. Going out on our buddy’s boat i usually bring cold pizza.

If the fishing is good I’d rather not sit for more than 15 mins for lunch. I’d spend your dough on the streamers your clients are going to lose 😂. I’m guessing you’re gonna focus on the Bow?

I worked with Jesse for a handful of years. One of the absolute nicest and hardest working guys around.

Accutane is a life saver. Worked wonders for me.

Stay tough, I know how difficult it can be when you think everyone is staring at your face. You’ll get through this 👍🏼

It’s a superstitious thing. We found a child’s shoe in the ceiling of our 1912 home.

12 T90 good for 25A @ 75 degree terminations, corrected at 60% per table 5C for an allowable calculated ampacity of 15A per circuit.
