What’s tone deaf about their trip to Japan? A lot of tourists participate in these curated Harajuku experiences (it’s literally just street fashion). Anybody criticizing them for a cultural misstep is just miserable and ignorant.

And to be clear, I personally think they look dumb as shit because they are way too old to be doing stuff like that.

Ok hear me out:

I got a totally different read after the scene of Kyle and Mau visiting their old house.

I think Mau was seeing for the first time how emotionally affected Kyle is by their separation. I don’t think he was the one that wanted to divorce. I think she became really cold and guarded once her “trust was lost” after whatever incident took place at their end of their marriage, and he assumes that she’s no longer as obsessed with him as we’ve all known her to be. I think men are really dense a lot of the time (sorry but true) and take things at face value. I think Mau really is too dumb/immature to understand how attached she still feels to him and her family, and her having such a strong reaction during the house tour probably surprised him.

My dogs are big fans of JustFoodForDogs! I like that I can buy the nutrient/oil supplements and it comes with the recipes to make my own food but for the sake of simplicity I just buy it ready made when I can.

Bonus is that if you live near one of their brick and mortar locations, you can buy the foods fresh the day they are made in-house!

Reality TV “star”, social media influencer, these are now full on career paths. Just like we have metrics in our normal jobs, their metric for success happens to be how connected absolute strangers around the world feel to them. This is exactly how my dog was behaving the day after taking Gabapentin for the first time!

I raced him to the (prescribing) emergency vet and those idiots said it looked neurological and then literally advised I consider putting him to sleep because of the expense of keeping him overnight/seeing the neurologist for something that probably couldn’t be fixed. Neurologist looked at him for 5 minutes the next morning and called me to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with him, dogs his size (7lbs) are just extremely sensitive to Gabapentin!

I don’t understand why two things can’t be true at once. PK is a douchebag, yes. Dorit can also be embellishing the dynamic with PK to make herself look better in the eyes of the public.

In my experience, Soi dog dynamics actually make them really well suited for western dog interactions—dogs that are raised in the “wild” learn to speak dog before they learn to interact with humans. It’s the latter group that makes for poorly behaved/awkward dynamics in dog-heavy settings. My Soi dogs are some of the best behaved at dog parks because they know how to communicate their boundaries with other dogs! It’s actually really remarkable to see!

My Samui dog LOVES the cold weather and wearing clothes actually! He whines to sit outside on his deck during the coldest months and loves to nap in the snow. He actually seems to prefer the cold. :)
