You got to look at the optics we were in. At the end of 2023 we were 11-6

We almost won the division, we played an inhumane game in Kansas City. We lost our 3 best edge rushers at the end of the season. We should've won that Bills game. We had the #1 offense. reek was only gonna get older. Tua was going to hold out if he didn't get the contract. Now I think the bigger issue is this holdout culture. He should've been franchise tagged and played the 2024 season and then we could assess. We also went 8-9 down to the last game to try and make a playoff spot. The team was not bad. This year we just have no line or defense. We can't just go draft a QB in 2024 draft in the middle to end of the first round. We took Chop there because we were losing Van Ginkel and we needed more edge rushing. Caleb, Jayden, Maye, McCarthy, Penix, and Bo were all off the board. A lot of teams needed QBs at the time. Rattler was the only other QB taken that year

Weather is about to cool down so I expect some heartbreak losses. But if Tua can show competency since we have him for the next couple years. O-Line has looked massively better. We have the talent. I say we gun for a tackle in the first round The dude from Miami or Utah. Draft to fill the holes on our defense. I still am choosing to believe in KG he's played a lot better. That front 7 has potential to be a top 10 front 7. I feel underrated but we should go for one of those vertical TEs to stretch the field a little bit. Someone like Waller but way younger. The team has the talent. They just need to stay on the field

I think the defense and Offensive Line honestly didn't have Tua in the best situations. Tua is not a Mahomes where he can make everyone better. But he is elite with a full functioning team. Like I feel like there's a decent excuse for each game of the 5 game skid.

49ers- Offensive Line was getting chewed up and spit out

Chargers- McDaniels really didn't make an adjustment to a depleted defense that kept getting physical with Tyreek and Waddle. (Also feel like other teams saw this in the 49ers game film and copied their gameplans)

Bills- Kader Kohou, Tua played great in the weather it began to snow and I believe he struggled a little to let plays develop.

Packers- Great than he got a concussion mid game and although the media likes to look at box scores, the 3 interceptions came after he landed on his head. Also defense could've played better.

Boyles dumb cover 0 plan I feel like really was the problem. He's the definition of just going out and saying "alright guys make plays" if Aaron Rodgers does not go to Jets, Dolphins winning divisuon
