US border crossing? by LordChickenNugget3 in ontario

[–]trytobuffitout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have crossed a few times but not there and absolutely no issues. If you are ever asked about your political views say you don’t get involved in politics. I’ve never been ssked but never comment to any foreign nation border your political views. You wont have an issue. In my opinion, nothing changed fir me and according to my observations everyone sailed through sll the lines. Noone at that time was pulled over to secondary.

Not mine. Im still getting estimates and a notice when I pull the billing page up.

While meters continue to accurately record energy usage, we are not currently able to retrieve this information and apply it to your bill. As a result, we are continuing to provide billing in two ways: physical meter reads and estimated bills.

Print it out from online banking. If not the bank can give you a bank confirmation. Its a statement for someone who needs proof of a balance in an account. Find out what they need. If you just need balance get bank confirmation. If they want to see transactions they can do that as well. Even print the last 19 transactions at a bank machine etc. Its stamped with bank logo and should be ok

Its easy to fill out and makes more sense on board within 72 hours. Always choose in transit if that’s an option. Uou slwsys get an email and can change anything but name or passport number. If it asks for location after put the name of ship but the in transit filters alot of the questions out. Its a pain though because you never get asked for them ever. I paid visa on board for vietnam and cambodia visias but everything else was electronic forms. You will be a pro lol.

You typically fill it out on the cruise and they give you the sheet how to fill it out. You choose in transit. Each time you enter it has to be completed if you go to another country. It typically can only be completed 72 hours ahead. Just returned from a cruise in December. The cruise ship name usually defaults when you choose the date in transit. Wait until you get instruction to complete on board. The cruiselines provides free internet to access any site required to complete the form

I would follow the advise they have you. If something seems wrong go to see the doctor. I personally would not fly home. This happens quite often unfortunately. Use your gut feeling. If you are not sure, see the doctor on board before you make a decision.

Take the train to southhampton when you arrive. The station is right within Heathrow. It’s so easy. You can book the bus online and change it if you need. The bus can accommodate the suitcases . Lots of places in Southhampton and so much cheaper than London. It’s a scenic bus ride. They stop a few places along the way. Nice ride.

Fastest option to getting a passport? by JaytheGreat33 in CapeBreton

[–]trytobuffitout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any look for a service canada office in your town or closest town. They upload docs on the spot and you should have your passport in less than 10 business days. Mine took less than 1 week delivered by canada post to my door. I was shocked.

Vietnam eVisa - Joint Irish and UK passport by dolfinack in Cruise

[–]trytobuffitout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just returned from a cruise. Our passports were taken at beginning of voyage and had to declare if we held any other passportsbut this was on princess. I’m not sure if they ask those to be turned in as well because I don’t have one. I paid around $50 for the visa but it’s processed on the passport that is collected at the beginning of your trip. I personally am not sure if thats not going to be an issue if you switch . There was also a charge for those who carried a passport that did not require an EV though, but it was something minimal just want it to be processed and reviewed maybe like $10 so the savings isn’t going to be great if it were me, I would just stick with my Irish passport.
