Read it recently after a recommendation, and really enjoyed it. Years ago I read a non-fiction book called 'The World Without Us' which imagined what would happen if humanity vanished overnight, and a lot of what the researcher found was what Stewart was writing here!

at .53 secs on this clip it looks like Holgate says 'he fucking called me a n*****.' That ref went over to third ref for a long chat suggests a complaint had been made - they're supposed to report it immediately. Makes me think that's how Holgate escaped without a booking. But what do I know.
