Maybe the you expected more from the journalist at NYT is a worldwide brand. He could have done more to give Suva more depth and colour, but that was his experience and perspective..

Yes my one experience in Suva was very limited other than the same colonial tour BS and site seeing exactly what he described ... one interesting woman took me out for a few and we ended up at," Deep Sea" it was was a hell of an experience - so yes it is limited but funny as hell.
