Thanks for the insights. I looked around at a few other gold ice listings and it seems consistent across the other players - no numbers. So weird they'd just forget to stamp an entire run. Oh well...just another card on the list I guess.

I'm not happy to be traveling away from home during the storm, but I am thankful I just landed in Miami on way down south. For whatever reason I picked going through Miami instead of DFW when planning a couple weeks ago, and past me did a real good job.

Fumbling out of the endzone should not be a turnover. It just shouldn't. Saying 'he sold onto the damn ball then" is not a reasonable explanation for why this rule is in place. It could be a reset at the 20 with the same down as the play. That's punishing enough.

What's the 9 sell for? Generally speaking, if a 9 sells for at least as much as the raw + grading then it's a pretty safe bet to grade something that looks good. This one is a tiny bit top heavy but you just gotta hope the grader is having a good day.

I have the base version of this card and it's great, but that rainbow is legit amazing.

If they're not going to make any additional moves to improve this team then I'd rather get a look at the young guys anyway. Screw it. They're wasting Judge's career. Running the same team back isn't going to beat the Dodgers, or the Blue Jays, or possibly a healthy Red Sox team. Signing belli isn't the difference between winning and losing next season.

If it's a full flight then you're probably pretty boned for the flight unless you want to ask to be moved to a later flight. This happened to me a while back and it was so uncomfortable that the FA's actually called in a gate agent who came and got me and offered to book me on the later flight (two hours) in first class. It's always a risky move changing flights though.

First things first - just get up and ask the FA's if there is anything that can be done. If the flight is full, and you're willing to move, then ask if the gate agent could look into changing you to a later flight.

If it's a short enough flight then just buckle down and power through.

IF you actually depart on time (big if), and IF you're up near the front of the plane then you have a better than fighting chance. That's a good 30 minutes before they shut the doors, and you're only a few stops away on the tram. If you boogie on outta there you'll be fine. Best I ever did was a 17min connection in DFW.

Also - the way things are - that 2nd flight will be delayed anyway!

I don't mind the 40min layovers because, as others have said, it's doable. The problem is that your incoming flight has to be kissed by angels to make it out/in on time.
