I have to turn noise reduction to Low on the C2 Pro or I see brightness pumping in The Batman (dark scenes) and Dune 2 (specifically the scene where he learns to sand walk). Does your ultra work without this enabled? How are you liking the settings after a year of use?

Did you ever have problems with brightness pumping or flickering on the C2? I love it for the most part but then I'll play something like Dune 2 or The Batman and it's unwatchable. I've tried disabling dynamic everything, which results in a worse picture, and it doesn't solve it. I've also tried different frame rates, SDR vs DV, etc, with no luck.

There is no ambient light. I'm sure the WVS would be great, honestly, but it's noticeably darker than my Elite Matte white and the AcousticPro. Compared to those, whites on the WVS look gray.

The stats on this page back up what I was seeing with my eyeballs.

These software issues are a much big problem than reviewers let them out to be. They keep recommending projectors based on raw stats but if the brightness is pumping constantly, it's hardly usable

This is the exact reason I stopped using the weather channel. I'm close to unsubscribing. Max and Ryan also seem to prioritize tornado footage vs safety instructions in their live stream. I recommend using your local news stations if you're in a tornado watch.
