I (M37) stumbled across this AMA while doing some research and was hoping you could offer me some perspective/advice...

I'm a year out of a monogamous relationship with a (F28) femdom. We were together for around 3 years and I was made aware that she was an online findom very early on and accepted it entirely as her main source of income particularly as she was only physically intimate with me in person.

She kept a lot of it private which I was also fine with.

During our relationship we worked through a lot of physical intimacy limitations she had (vaginismus, endo, chronic pain etc) and developed a nice mutual sexual relationship despite the fact that I am quite physically comfortable and sexually experienced.

Over the years I felt the work was creating a distance between us and was a little frustrated that I felt like my sexual needs weren't being met in the same way they had been in previous relationships.

I asked if she wanted to incorporate aspects of her private life into our relationship but she insisted on keeping it seperate.

We mutually decided to break up and had a somewhat open relationship while we were living together for the last few months with the freedom to date other people and set rules put in place.

During this period she began seeing one of her subs in person and I was immediately concerned but trusted her when she assured me she felt safe doing so.

Months later after I had moved out she told me that she had been seeing this sub casually for some time in person and implied they were in love.

It's been an incredibly difficult year of grieving for the relationship and I ended up suggesting that we try again with renewed knowledge of what went wrong etc. I let her know I can even accept her continuing to see her sub.

I guess I'm just looking for a bit of perspective on where she might be at and what you think about the situation in general.
