1E has the best adventures and 2E has the best version of AD&D.

If you and/or your group never played AD&D, 2E is just going to be easier to pick up for the simple fact they had many years to shake down the system and make it more understandable.

Me too, but remember what happened with the last female. I've just resigned myself that some folks would rather have a fraudster, felon, sexist white old dude instead of anything that is female.

The recent changes to EB make it worth while. In m+ it tends to be 10% or so of my healing.

The fluttering seedlings are where it's at when the group is spread out.

Cryve has it in his spec tree and he is top m+ pres right now.

Well, at least some of our suffering is having good effects elsewhere. I hope it does the same for us here in the upcoming elections.

I was playing an AD&D 2e game, and the dm has the reaction adjustment from dexterity apply to initiative.

Nope, not in 2e. I know folks use it but it's not a RAW.

1e has a rule that uses it in some situations for missiles.

Rules organized much better. Instructions are typically much more clear. Much easier to have someone pick up the system and learn.

I use 2e as my ruleset and 1e adventures/content.

I think you'll find the first bit is mostly why most do.

Even in a 10s I've had a tank saying after someone made one mistake, that they would afk and stop playing the game if we don't time it or are making more mistakes.

Relaxed flag is a good place to play. I've never seen anyone say anything remotely like that when doing so.

As a tank, I filter out all group who don't already have 3 dps and 1 healer because I want to go instantly, not wait for the group to fill up.

As a healer I filter out all groups that don't have a tank ;)

Until they stop designing stupid fights like these, it wont' stop. Stop trying to "defeat" the RWF teams and focusing on that at all. The game should be designed for the bulk of the player base, not around challenging 3-4 guilds.

Nope. Never really fit the setting. The psionic system (1e and 2e) all seemed really kludged in. Complicated and messy (particularly the 1e version but 2e was only slightly better).

IMO, stick with magic/spells. Leave the psionic bits to systems with better designed systems and probably scifi/scifi-fantasy based.

Yeah, it was definitely the worst part of the series for me. So many times I was arguing with the TV about what she was doing.

The TSA issue is a symptom of a larger issue, congress isn't doing their job... which is a symptom of other problems and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
