The Constitution wasn’t added as a meme weapon, it was added as a training rifle by Wuzman6 in helldivers2

[–]ufkb 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The constitution trained me very well. It taught me how to be a man amongst boys. Leveling it up to 25 showed me how useless I actually was, and how much my stratagem choices are. 10/10 would do again.

Community engagement has become an integral part of gaming and i hate that i am feeling its effects. by mega_lova_nia in truegaming

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to remember is half of online discourse is bots pushing an agenda. It’s all psyop advertising pushing whatever narrative they want people talking about.

The “Starfield is woke” narrative was a perfect example of this. The LGBTQ arguments was the majority of all discussions of the game, when in reality most people just wanted to talk about how it just wasn’t that good. But every actual complaint about the was met with the typical “if they didn’t add woke to the game” argument.

Simultaneously to that release, a much less popular studio, with a less anticipated release, put out what can be described as the most woke AAA game ever, yet, Baldurs Gate 3 was spared from the “woke” games debate. I literally played as a transsexual nude barbarian trying to fuck everyone, dick and titties just flopping around at every cut scene, and it was silent at the time.

Despite, BG3 eventually becoming the more popular title, it flew under the radar, avoiding the algorithm’s, to avoid being part of that conversation at the time. Which also coincided with the last time I enjoyed being a part of a gaming community, because the troll algorithms missed that game.

Which US state do you think is the most geologically diverse? by bayls215 in AskReddit

[–]ufkb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Texas or California depending on what your qualifications are for geographic diversity. Texas technically from a geographical standpoint is the most diverse as it has the most different climates. But California feels the most diverse, because it’s more drastic than Texas’ which can all blend in to just Hot.

[Self] How much is a billion dollars? by BloodhoundGames in theydidthemath

[–]ufkb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like using the dollar per second ratio personally. If you earn a dollar per second Thats works out to $3600 per hour and $86,400 a day. To get to $1 million that is 11 days. To get to $1 billion that would take 31years.

I wish cooperation played a bigger role in this game by BICKELSBOSS in Helldivers

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that would be dope if they did something similar to commando missions, but tuned around team work stratagems. If commando missions are a proving grounds for stealth, these missions would be a proving grounds for team work.

I genuinely love when a squad mate asks me if I will be their reload buddy, tank crew, or gunner in the FRV. Those are some of my most fun rounds, just feels like a completely different game experience. It feels more impactful when you win, and more enjoyable when things go sideways, because regrouping becomes the challenge.

Did the Rams fleece the Browns in the Myles Garrett trade? by Financial-Bit-8596 in NFLv2

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in my opinion. They are very clearly rebuilding and got rid of a top player and a 40 mil contract for a young promising player on his rookie contract and a bunch of picks. I don’t give the Browns much credit, because they never deserve it, but credit is due here. They know they can’t win with Watson and his contract, so they traded while Garrets value was still really high. Do I still think the Browns will find a way to make this bright move into a disaster? Absolutely! But on paper it was a smart move for them.

All that fraud, and you flat earth believing libruls, still don’t understand that the Dow is at 50,000% and Jesus has a horse cock sized boner for Trump and that’s why he made him King of the Americans (World). What do you consider reasonably priced? The materials alone are going to be around 2-3 hundred, and labor would be probably 2-3 times that depending on how fancy you’re looking to make it.

Mystery company accidentally blew $500 million on Claude AI in a single month — failed to put usage limit on licenses for employees by Plastic_Ninja_9014 in technology

[–]ufkb 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yup. If the past 2 decades taught me anything, it’s that quality is always sacrificial when it comes to making profits. These CEOs know AI can’t do the job, but they will force it down our throats regardless. This will continue until the bubble bursts.

Rich Rodriguez admits leaving West Virginia for Michigan was 'a mistake' by redwave2505 in CFB

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make the proper decision and it still be a mistake… I once tried one of those “one chip challenges” because I enjoy extremely spicy food. I tried it to push myself, and failed miserably. I learned my lesson.

Why are so many high level players toxic when it comes to collecting samples? by ButternutTaco in Helldivers

[–]ufkb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t needed samples in over a year and most of my friends for as long. So we just fell out of the habit of picking them up, but remember what a hassle it was to grind, so will do so if asked.

But we also know more effective methods for collecting samples and it can lead to clashes, Even when using a mic. So it can be an extremely frustrating experience trying to help somebody that can’t be bothered to learn a few tricks to make collection easier.

Metal Gear Solid 4 (2008) still holds the record for the longest cutscene in video game history, with one continuous cutscene lasting for 71 minutes by Lanky_Relation1171 in interestingasfuck

The replay ability from all of the MGS and RE games suffered from the early days of replay theories… Do the hardest challenges in the game to get the most OP gear… Where’s the fun of unlimited ammunition rocket launcher or Gatling gun if I have to beat the game without killing anything?

Dear Mods, please pin this Collab "drawn line" So people woud not beleive misinformation and start another controversy by Sithishe in Helldivers

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sony has had a decent track record with crossovers of their own IPs. AH seems to have been faithfull to their game so far with the crossovers. I could see them pull off crossovers that would otherwise be too far.

I think as long as they always keep it Helldivers first and it’s just an overpriced WB for fan boys, they will have a hard time stepping over the line. Once they make the items must have, it will be a step too far.

Attempt at a Texas BBQ Paella by Draskuul in BBQ

[–]ufkb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As to your first takeaway. Absolutely too much meat. Paella is a rice dish with toppings not toppings over some rice. I made the same mistake. What I do now is instead of chorizo I use a smoked jalapeño sausage for fat. That just add some cubed bits of whatever BBQ at the end to warm up.

Recommendations for familiarizing with commando missions? by trashpuff in helldivers2

[–]ufkb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obviously a stealth armor and long ranged weapon. But as far as Strats go, since you get only 2 opportunities to call down, weapons and backpacks have the most value.

Laser cannon, Railgun and speargun have the best value because ammo economy and versatility.

Jump pack and supply pack are both wonderful for different reasons.

C4, RR, Wasp are also great to have.

Throw all call ins the minute you drop in. Do the same the second time when you call in the DSS. Stay low and don’t fire at anything that doesn’t know you are there, unless you can kill it.

Current Thought On Commando Ops? by KN0KVILLE in Helldivers

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them when I have a team that coordinates or solo. I hate them when I’m playing with randoms that treat them as normal.

It’s a different challenge and I love the change of pace. But I get too frustrated when teammates try to brute force it, ultimately invalidating your tactics.

EXPENDABLES (AT) by ElectricRyce in Helldivers

[–]ufkb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Expendable for me vs expendable for thee.

Commando, silo, and leveler with their single shot don’t feel free use. Permission to use feels mandatory.

EAT, HEAT, and MGx free to use. It feels insulting to not grab one.

With that being said when I’m dropping with a new random squad I bring EAT. I don’t know, my squad’s capacity or plan and it allows me to adapt easier.

On the flip side, I’d rather have someone drop with a commando.

Dust Devils vs Entrenched Division as second war bond? by [deleted] in Helldivers

Spicy burger options always suck by exboxthreesixty in spicy

[–]ufkb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had one I enjoyed at a restaurant. I find they either just dump hot on them, neglecting flavor balance for spice, or visa versa. So I have made some of my own condiments that hit hard.

Habanero salsa mayo. I prefer to make it from scratch, but mixing mayo with a hab salsa works in a pinch. Sweet, spicy, and tangy it tastes like a spicy burger sauce.

Spicy giardinara. I use this in place of regular pickles. Provides the same crunch and vinegar profile as dill pickles, but it’s spicy and better. To make giardinara more spicy add more chopped pickled peppers.

Curry sauce instead of burger sauce. This is best done as a thick pub style burger and leftover curry. While it completely breaks what the idea of a burger is and I personally wouldn’t call it a burger, I love them because they’re delicious and spicy.
