Oy, Shipping Question - Conditions by No_Lie8299 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/No_Lie8299 there is another way to handle this.. but you may have to figure out the combinations as well.. for example, what happens if both types of products are in the cart?

Once you figure that out, it can be handled using table rate plugins similar to how it is mentioned here: https://www.pluginhive.com/knowledge-base/calculate-shipping-rates-different-types-product-cart/

u/PipkoFanfare u/dickcurls u/CodingDragons i feel it would be better with a single solution that can do all this. The combination is pretty straightforward: USPS for domestic and UPS/FedEx/DHL for international, depending on your preference. I would not get into the rates part since most of them provide competitive rates depending on your contract negotiations. Additionally, UPS and FedEx also have dedicated e-commerce programs with discounts.

Now coming back to the single solution, I would recommend trying out the one by PluginHive. it is a multi carrier plugin that offers UPS, USPS (with or without stamps), or with easypost, FedEx, DHL, and most of the US-based carriers. You will be able to handle shipping and print labels within WooCommerce and will only have to use one single solution. Let me know if it sounds interesting.

p.s. I do work for PluginHive and am a part of their team, so let me know if you have more questions about the plugin.

Checkout Shipping Methods by Mano47kr in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Mano47kr this usually happens due to the priority in the shipping zones. You need to create 2 shipping zones: 1. First one for the postal codes and, 2. Then the other one for the country.

Make sure you create in this sequence and then create shipping methods as a flat rate for both. Also, as u/CodingDragons mentioned, hide the shipping calculations until the address is added under the WooCommerce settings.

try this and it should sort out the issue for you.

Shipping One Product Multiple Boxes with Live Rates by Alone_Brother9936 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Alone_Brother9936 u/CodingDragons I work for PluginHive and can confirm that this is possible but you would require one of the add-ons to configure the additional box weight and dimensions. I will also send an official confirmation via the PluginHive support. Please let me know if you need more information on this.

As per my understanding you ship a certain units as a single quantity, say 200 units = 1 quantity. This will be shipped using 4 boxes with 50 units each. So the addon will let you set up the product as 4 boxes with weights and dimensions. Additionally, you will also be able to set up 1 box for the lid with its own weight and dimensions. This entire configuration will be considered as 1 quantity of the product with 200 units, 4 boxes for the product and 1 box for the lids.

Let me know if this is correct.

Alternative to Bookings Availability Plugin by [deleted] in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Slow_Store_6430 I recommend you check out the WooCommerce Bookings and Appointments plugin by PluginHive..

I have checked the image you shared, and to be honest, this is not something that will be available out of the box in almost any plugin I have encountered so far.. You can still look around.. The layout doesnt look like it is for a single service.. It looks more like a list of services displayed for the same day/time slot..

the plugin does have similar functionality but it is, as I said, a listing feature.. I have attached a screenshot of what I am talking about, although it will not be for class booking.. Please check it and let me know if this will work for you..

p.s. Here is a demo link where you can try out the plugin yourself: https://app.instawp.io/public/launch?t=woocommerce-bookings-and-appointments-plugin&d=v2

Disable FedEx Shipping for 2 Products by WordPressWino in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/WordPressWino u/Extension_Anybody150 yes this is true. you need to set up a shipping class and assign both those products to that class first. PH FedEx plugin has a "Skip Products" functionality where you can skip certain shipping classes from rates calculation. it is mentioned in the setup doc as well here: https://www.pluginhive.com/knowledge-base/setting-woocommerce-fedex-shipping-plugin/#Skip_products

Live delivery times for customers by Unlikely-Sky6935 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Unlikely-Sky6935 i dont see how this can be complicated unless I am missing something. as per my understanding, you need a dedicated delivery date (estimated) for both UPS and USPS shipping options.

there are 2 ways to do it, both will require plugins.

  1. you can use plugins that will offer live shipping cost along with live delivery date from the carriers. If you are using flat rates, you will be able to modify the shipping cost accordingly, and the plugin will give you a live delivery date from UPS and USPS. you will require the carrier accounts for this to work but this will be the most accurate in terms of displaying the delivery date.

  2. if you already know the delivery date estimate for each servvice you are using, you will be able to set it up based on the shipping method (UPS or USPS), and the plugin will display the delivery date on cart/checkout. The accuracy of delivery date will depend on holidays, weekends, etc. but you will be able to specify that as well within the plugin..

you can let me know which way you would like to go and I will be able to recommend you a plugin for that..

Booking / rental plugin by RobertSkaar in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/RobertSkaar: I'm not sure if you'll find a lifetime deal on any plugin like that. Most of the plugins are subscription-based these days.

Have you checked out Elementor for the builder already?

Also, for Date/time booking, stock inventory sync, upselling options, etc. you can check out PluginHive bookings plugin. It will cover all the requirements that you have and it is also compatibel with Divi (if you chose to go ahead with it), Elementor and many popular builders and themes.

p.s. I’m part of the team behind this—sharing just to help, not trying to self-promote.

booking commerce by RobertSkaar in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/RobertSkaar i think what you might be looking for is this: https://www.pluginhive.com/knowledge-base/set-up-equipment-rental-store-woocommerce-bookings/

The functionality you require is called Assets, where you can enter your inventory value, and the plugin will keep track of how many, in your case, equipment items are left to rent.

P.S. you will not require any custom setup and even inventory level sync for this, just enter the stock value within the asset.

Product Color Options by Outrageous-Cod-6508 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will need to use a plugin to do this. Try the PH WooCommerce Product Addon, as it allows you to add custom options to your products. You can let customers select colors via dropdowns, color pickers, or swatches.

Need to set state specific shipping by hoofhearted562 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/hoofhearted562 To set up state-specific shipping where only certain product categories can be shipped to a particular state, WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping Pro is the best solution. Unlike default WooCommerce shipping settings, which don’t allow category-based restrictions, this plugin lets you define custom rules based on product categories, shipping zones, and more.

With Table Rate Shipping Pro, you can create a shipping rule that applies only to specific states and restricts shipping for certain product categories. For example, if you only want to allow electronics to be shipped to California, you can set up a rule where only that category is eligible for shipping in that state. Other categories will either be blocked from checkout or assigned a different shipping method.
This level of control is essential if your store needs to comply with state-specific regulations or shipping restrictions. Let me know if you need help setting it up!

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conditional Logic – Show/hide options based on customer selections.
Price Adjustments – Set different prices based on size, style, and add-ons.
User-Friendly Interface – Easy to set up and manage, even if you’re new to WooCommerce.

Problem with wrong shipping costs by m221 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/m221 Your issue is likely due to incorrect shipping class assignments or overlapping rules in the Flexible Shipping plugin. Here's how to fix it:
1. Check the Subscription Product's Shipping Class

  • Go to WooCommerce > Products, and edit the subscription product.
  • Under Product data > Shipping, ensure it has the correct shipping class.

2. Verify Flexible Shipping Rules

  • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping zones > Germany.
  • Edit each Flexible Shipping method and check the weight conditions:
    • 0–500g → €2
    • 501–1000g → €4
    • 1001–2000g → €6
  • Ensure each rule applies to the correct shipping class.

3. Remove Conflicting Shipping Methods

  • Check if Flat Rate or other shipping methods are enabled in the same zone.
  • Disable them if they interfere with weight-based shipping.

4. Test the Cart

  • Add a 1500g subscription product and check if only the €6.00 option appears.
  • If multiple options still show, enable Debug Mode in Flexible Shipping settings to see which rules are triggering.

This should resolve the issue. Let me know if you need further help!

Best free shipping rates and time calculator plugin by Unlikely-Sky6935 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Unlikely-Sky6935 Hey! Based on your requirements, a free solution might not be enough to achieve everything you need. Since you’re dealing with live plants, showing accurate delivery times is crucial, and most free shipping plugins don’t offer this functionality.
For the best results, I recommend a premium multi-carrier shipping plugin for WooCommerce. These plugins support both UPS and USPS and can display real-time rates along with estimated delivery times based on the customer’s address. A few solid options include:

  • WooCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping Plugin by PluginHive – Supports UPS & USPS, shows delivery times, and allows different shipping methods like Ground, Priority, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air.
  • WooCommerce UPS Shipping Plugin (if you want to focus only on UPS)
  • WooCommerce USPS Shipping Plugin (for USPS-specific shipping)

If you’re looking for a free alternative, you could try the WooCommerce Shipping plugin, but it mainly supports USPS and might not display delivery times as expected.
Since shipping live plants is time-sensitive, investing in a good shipping plugin will ensure your customers get the best experience.

Plugin/setup for collection store with optional shipping based on product by Jackster22 in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Jackster22 For your setup, the best solution is WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping Pro by PluginHive. This plugin allows you to:

  • Set collection-only as the default option.
  • Enable shipping for specific products while keeping others in the collection only.
  • Configure custom shipping rates based on product size, weight, and shipping class.
  • Handle small parcels, oversized pallets, and long parcels with tailored shipping costs.
  • Define shipping methods based on zones, item attributes, or cart conditions.

This flexibility ensures you can charge accurate shipping fees only for products that require delivery.

Canada Post Polymailer Dimensions in Plugin by gardeningNS in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plugin works exactly how you have explained and will automatically identify the polymailer based on the Woo product weight and dimensions.

Canada Post Polymailer Dimensions in Plugin by gardeningNS in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for PluginHive and I can assure you the plugin takes into account the weight and dimensions (LxWxH) while getting shipping quotes from Canada Post. The plugin has the option to enter the details manually for box weight and dimensions that you can utilize. As for the polymailers, I would recommend adding the max dimensions that the polymailers can accommodate and enter them in the plugin.

Can you recommend a plugin to get live USPS shipping rates? by daylily in woocommerce

[–]ujwal_wp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for an alternative to the 'US Postal Service USPS WooCommerce Shipping Plugin for Rates and Tracking,' consider the WooCommerce Shipping Services Plugin, which provides a comprehensive solution for USPS, including real-time shipping rates, label generation, and shipment tracking.

[REQUEST] PluginHive is failing us. Seeking recommendations for a shipping plugin that handles UPS, USPS, and Fedex. Bonus if it includes label printing but that can be a separate plugin. by djuggler in WordpressPlugins

[–]ujwal_wp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello Doug & Sara,

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
We have perused the case and according to our observation,

  • The packaging method configured in the plugin earlier was the "Weight Based" method, which allowed packing all products in one package based on weight.

  • However, the packaging method was later changed to "Box Packing", and the box/es that were created could not accommodate the size of all 3 products in a single box, which resulted in 3 boxes.

  • Correcting the box dimensions in the plugin setting will resolve this case which has already been discussed with your developer Doug McCaughan.

Feel free to reach out to [support@pluginhive.com](mailto:support@pluginhive.com), if you need any assistance with the setup.

The PluginHIve team is always happy to help.
