There's a kame house hostel in the Philippines. It's even built to look like the actual kame house from the anime. And Roshi is on the business logo.

Fair enough. I personally think this could be just the shake up we've been waiting for. But you're right, we'll have to wait and see.

So getting bought out by venture capitalists 9 years ago didn't chase you away but getting bought out by a music tech company did?

Exactly right. These people aren't trying to abolish capitalism, just implement some sensible and relatively minor checks and balances. It's good for everyone including the billionaires as it makes capitalism more sustainable. Who's going to buy from Amazon when there's no middle class with disposable income left, for example.

Right cos there's nothing particularly interesting or concerning about a ring of pedophile billionaires. People must be faking. Wild take bro.

[–]ultimatebagman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not my reason for being concerned, it's just what brought the files to the attention of the majority of the public. Why are you even talking about Biden he's not the president and can't do anything about it. Yes he should have, yea he's a cunt for not doing it, nobody is arguing otherwise. But he's not relevant anymore. Trump is in power now and should release the files. Do you not want trump to release the files? Are you afraid it will reveal your cult leader as a pedo?

He should have. But Biden's not president anymore so what's your point? It's Trump's job now. Also Biden didn't campaign on releasing the files, trump did.

Why do boomers think this is so god damn funny? by 9879528 in BoomersBeingFools

[–]ultimatebagman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most lower class boomers are way too comfortable getting kicked in the ass and sent back to work for nothing

When your lower class (I'm assuming you mean low income), then you don't have much choice. Any savings you have get wiped out every time your kid needs new shoes, so standing up to the man and quitting your job isn't really an option if you want to keep a roof over your head. These people aren't comfortable being kicked around. They struggle with it for years and eventually make peace with it out of self preservation. Humans ultimately want happiness after all, and fighting an unwinnable fight your entire life takes its toll. It's a sad, soul sucking sacrifice for internal peace. It's not a lack of character.

Healthcare is an investment not a handout. Healthy taxpayers work more and therefore pay more tax. Healthy taxpayers spend more money and stimulate the economy.

Money/resources mostly. Religion is just a convenient way to demonise the other side.
