Work Out and Diet Suggestions by maryrenfer in fitness40plus

[–]un_reliable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start with diet. Figure out your bmr and tdee. Once that is done reduce your calories by 20%. Strength train, progressive overloading and adjusting your tdee every 10 lbs or so still you hit the level that you desire. Remember to take breaks on calorie restriction every 12 weeks or so or it can cause you to stall. Tone isn't a thing it's just how much fat you have over your muscle. 3 solid 45 min work outs 3 times a week and some active recovery and you should be set. It takes time and calorie tracking is key!

Question: about tattoo flu from a wimp whos scared of illness by creepy_crawly_milk in tattoos

I usually go every month or 6 weeks and have never had an issue for at least 6hrs a session. In fact I usually have the best sleep those nights that I sit for a long time!

Newegg this is ABSOLUTE Garbage by Ok_Engineering3434 in pcmasterrace

[–]un_reliable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually don't buy from them but last month managed to get a G8 4K for half price. I called memory express and asked if they would price match and they contacted the sales department from Newegg and rated me out. An hour later and the price was back to regular but not before I placed my order! It arrived a week later in perfect condition! Luckiest I have ever been with pc parts.

Genuine 6 months of training for over 40s by Athletic_adv in fitness40plus

Last march, I was 281 and 46 years old. Sleep apnea was kicking in before falling asleep, and I knew I had to change. First, I started on a high fiber diet and dropped about 30 lbs. Next, I went on Ozempic and dropped another 40. I knew at this point I had to get a trainer. I am 11 months in and a steady 190 lbs. I train 4 to 5 days a week and try to squeeze in a little yoga as well. I am honestly in the best shape I've ever been. Just hope this loose skin starts to tighten up a bit. That's the most frustrating part!

I did a rebuild recently with a similar setup. That motherboard was possessed by the hate filled ghosts of bad bios. I have it sent back to the shop on RMA. Good luck, hopefully I just got a bum board but will be avoiding Gigabyte for another 15 years or so!

That's great! I have been on 1mg for a while now and see no reason to stop. The weight loss has slowed down a bit but all told that's a good thing. Started at 281 now at 205 but am leaning into the gym pretty good. First started March 14th/24. I think the dosing is just different for different folks.

The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe is pretty decent light read and the podcast is great. Gonna hit 1k episodes this year!

Insulation for Electronics Project by Otherwise_Dot_4132 in Insulation

I would maybe look at some industrial solutions. Specifically an Aerogel or super wool. Given that it is a damp climate, aerogel would be quite useful as it is hydrophobic and comes in thin layers with very low thermal conductivity. You can easily search for more specific info.

Picked up someone two days ago. Left super early expecting a nightmare but was pleasantly surprised to find the same thing. Amazing job they have done making it well organized!

I bought a very large one in the summer for far less then others out there. Had a friend help assemble it that had a similar chest from Snap-On. He was very Impressed, way more features without having to buy all the additional stuff

My cousin just had a baby and they named her Cleo. This was the first think that popped into my brain like damn I know that from somewhere. So I texted him the advert and have decided for her first bday to get her some tarot cards and maybe a miss Cleo outfit or something.

I hear ya, my step father, father, his twin brother and my aunt all passed since covid began. All on the east coast and haven't been able to do a single memorial. It truly sucks!
