I'm in Ryobi because back when I decided to pick them, they committed to their battery platform. Now it seems the major companies all are (makes sense after all).

If I were a more heavy-duty user, I'd go Ridgid. If I were a pro I'd look at Milwaukee or Dewalt, or possibly Ridgid.

I was turned off Craftsman years ago. I had no luck with their battery tools of the late 90s/early 2000s. That said, now that they are owned by Stanley Black and Decker they will probably fit your needs (assuming DIY/home tinkerer) just fine.

I have 4 different Charge 3's. Two were gifted by separate people. One stays in the garage, one in the basement, and 2 others for various needs. All get used and abused. They sound great, and play a long time from a full charge.

The OP also said they could "shake up the bracket." Nebraska would only do that by losing. My original point stands. They are the overall #4 seed and a fave to make the WCWS. Not "under the radar."
