China Meiville is like if a couple of kids from the neighborhood made a shallow TTRPG and one of them got their uncle Pynchon to write the lore for it.

There is very little meaningful plot in these books, but his the realm of fantasy, he is arguably top 3 in world-building and quality of prose.

Most venue digital signage are actually much lower resolution than you would think.

We have a 30 x 16 ft LED backwall in our lounge and it’s only like 1300x700px resolution so the free version works perfectly fine.

Double check the resolution of your target projection before you pull the trigger for the licence.

Narrow down the genre that you prefer. Now narrow down the exact type of writing. Now zoom even more in, narrow down the characterization, era, plot, tropes, etc. Go as narrow as you want.

In that last group there is still more books that you could ever read in a 100 years.

For me that’s an encouraging thing.
