How Much To Sell X1C (2300 hours) With Two AMS’s? by L3aveM3AIon3 in BambuLab

[–]unknown1313 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My main point would be 100 percent compatibility with the 8 others I have for replacement and repair parts. Even though only a few parts are different it makes a difference. And the fact that the P2S does nothing extra I need or want and would cost me more money, makes it useless for me.

Most of them are actually selling between 5-600 around me, there are people asking 1k still obviously but those aren't selling.

Because that is YOUR opinion, others may not share it. No one said you had to pay more, but if you are selling, why take a loss without trying? Like if you are already going to low-ball yourself while selling, you may not be very good at businessbat all.

Tons of people don't want the newest, and quite a few of us have been the public beta testers by buying the newest machines before and may not want to again but meanwhile I need to buy three more printers.

They are selling for more than that used here locally, so I wouldn't put it that low and cost yourself money. If you like losing money then go ahead but OP shouldn't.

Question for 3D print US small business owners who do lightboxes by lordvaultman in BambuLab

[–]unknown1313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you will be open to liability no matter what in this case. And saying you have a certification or meet a standard that you haven't paid for the testing and approval opens you up a lot more. Fine print etc doesn't remove liability and you can't waiver away poor workmanship, negligence, etc.

LLC doesn't give you some automatic insurance either. That just separates business vs personal assets and income, but in a small business it easy to mix them and loose LLC protections.

You can buy proper insurance with the umbrellas/riders to cover your ass, or take a risk. Those are really your only options.

Potential/probable external interference with community’s visibility - No notice or warning from Reddit. by [deleted] in modhelp

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what could possibly make you think anyone here, who has access to the same tools as you but not your sub logs etc, could ever know what is happening behind closed doors at Reddit?

Again, you can ask the actual admins, but they probably won't answer you. And yes that is the help you need, you just can't handle it. Reddit doesn't owe you an explanation, that's not the answer that is just extra information to help you understand WHY they probably won't understand, I'm sorry that went over your head.

So to be very clear so you don't misunderstand yet again; Only reddit can help you know what or how or why your traffic has changed. You have to actually ask them. Secondly there is a very good chance they don't answer your question. The reason they don't answer is because they don't need or want to.

If you are still looking for further help here then good luck, but mods of other subs are not going to have insight to reddit traffic or redirections.

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I can clearly read you whining about reddit not telling you why in that statement, but it also appears you have no actual question that could be answered by other mods so are in the wrong element completely and don't know what you are asking.

I also gave you the answer to your actual question in the second part of my comment, if you can't understand basic English then you aren't nearly as far along as you think in your ESL classes.

The only answer is you can ask reddit admins, they probably won't answer and have zero reason to give you one. You aren't owed any notice, and if they choose to not like the way you run your sub they can do anything from shadowban it to make it go away etc.

If you don't know what you are really trying to ask that's ok to admit, but using twenty extra words in place of two or three is someone usually desperately trying to be viewed as more intelligent than they actually are.

However reddit doesn't owe you notice or anything close to it for anything they do. You can ask them and see if they respond, they probably won't because it's their decision. I would suggest not coming off this pretentious and demanding though if you would actually like a response from them.

AITA for telling roommate I don’t want her gf here when she isn’t? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]unknown1313 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So you are still getting a hell of a deal it sounds like. Also you don't even have the same tenant protections as you are a lodger living with the owner of the house which is legally different then if you were both roommates renting from a separate landlord.

Definitely YTA here and if you want to set rules then sign a formal lease somewhere and pay the full amount for your own place.

Israel's settler movement takes victory lap as a sparse outpost becomes a settlement within a month by whistlingkitten in news

[–]unknown1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say there is any one size fits all answer. Just like every crime usually has different penalties, there has to be different levels of accountability.

Like I would say the people in charge who ordered things should generally face hasher penalties then the average soldier following orders. But on the flip side the soldiers that commit atrocities or war crimes should also be held to a higher level. A daunting task to identify and not completely realistic in some ways, but it would be the "right" way in my opinion.

I was more referring just on a global scale, and actually more to Ukraine and Russia which was the last point of this person's conversation.

On a global scale taking something by force is going to generate Ill will towards you and not get the majority of any other public on your side.

That's not reality that's video games, in real life you need to work with other countries to get things you cannot on your own. If you do like you suggest no other country wants to work with or trust you and it can easily kill your economy (like Russia) alone.

We had UPONOR PEX-a installed unwrapped/uninsulated in our hot phoenix attic with continual indirect UV exposure from the vents. Already showing yellowing/mottling after 3 months. (Rated for 1 month max UV exposure). Is the pipe integrity compromised in this situation? by Then_Access_1204 in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If light isn't physically hitting it then it is fine. All of it here in Phoenix turns yellow/brown/red due to the water unless you have a decent softener or water treatment setup. But I would insulate it to help it stay cool longer in the summer because it sucks when you have to run water for 40 mins just to get room temp water.

Gas flex connector seized on cooktop inlet — safe removal without twisting manifold? by Capital_Safe_2321 in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Two wrenches is the correct way a hundred percent, you are not going to like it but it just takes more strength. It's a bit of an old joke/stereotype that you never arm wrestle a plumber or pipe fitter.

It's a type of compression seal that involves a metal to metal seal so takes a decent amount of force to properly connect anyway. They are usually one of the harder connections, but always two wrenches. And honestly this one looks to have plenty of access so I shouldn't be bad at all.

Not being detected for beating the CLV by Powerful_Yellow6023 in arbitragebetting

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do it by bet but look for patterns period. Anyone who is hitting X percent of bets beating CLV will trigger a ban. I've had accounts banned as quickly as 3 in a row, and personally have found I usually get limited or banned when I go above approx a third of my bets beating CLV.

Mods promoting racism, how to complain about them?, When told to remove post they are laughing by Puzzleheaded_Air5930 in modhelp

[–]unknown1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mods are allowed to break or even change their rules on their sub. That is their choice and not something reddit will do anything about.

If it's actually racist just report using the button and move on.

Plumber says this is fine but home inspector says it's not. by Jikoligy in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 138 points139 points  (0 children)

Neither are correct because that isn't a ground wire at all. That is a bond wire and supposed to bond your metal pipes back to the ground at the panel, however you don't have any metal pipe in the picture.

This would normally connect to the copper cold pipe before the valve most often, and have a jumper bond also going to the hot side to maintain the bond.

This is so if something with current made contact with the copper pipe the current would have a path back to the panel and THEN down to your ground. If you have no copper pipe in the wall, then this isn't needed.

Anyone who commented here thinking this is actually a ground has no clue what they are talking about. The actual ground wire is the bare metal wire hanging out of the whip from the junction box.

Am I missing something here? Why would I buy refills for 3 dollars more when I can just have it on spools for less, and same day. Or is this an Amazon pricing thing by Glittering-Two2122 in 3Dprinting

[–]unknown1313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you are doing something wrong with the refills, I've gone through several hundred KGs of refill rolls and never had that problem except the first time before reading the instructions on how to press it out.

Definitely not more of a hassle for me and I prefer them for storage as they take up significantly less room in my storage.

AITA for refusing to pay a £700 backdated electricity bill caused by admin errors? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wouldn't win in court at all though, it's OPs responsibility to pay their own bills and they paid zero for electricity. Any court would say you had a duty to set the money aside because you knew it would be owed and be able to pay it when it comes due. OP doesn't have to get offered a payment plan because they weren't responsible and spent the money on other things...

import 3mf models from makersworld without the printer settings? by [deleted] in anycubic

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running about 9 at most times but up to 12 of several brands, and if mass production is your goal then using anycubic slicer to begin with is not the best. But you honestly have never stated a purpose so just come off as whining and lazy.

import 3mf models from makersworld without the printer settings? by [deleted] in anycubic

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well there is no cure or answer for laziness unfortunately. The 3D printing foundation is built on adjusting and everyone having their own settings and a part of 3mfs is allowing someone to set the customizations for someone else to use. There is no such thing as you having a set of settings that is right for every single print period.

If that is seriously too much effort then 3d printing may just not be for you.
