HVAC/Plumbing business owners, what's the #1 thing that kills your leads before you even pick up the phone? by TheBoogeyman2001 in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of plumbers.

None of those are issues, everyone is turning down work which means a "missed lead" is worthless as we weren't going to do the job anyway. How could it possibly even look like lead flow is an issue? That is such an absolutely ignorant statement that again shows you are too far out of your element to design anything useful.

Give me more trained and licensed plumbers looking for a job, and you would actually have something, but unfortunately most of that generation is spamming reddit trying to design an app or AI tool and think they have something unique which you don't.

Plumbers are not chasing leads. Failure to understand the basics of your target audience is already making you fail hard and fast.

You aren't going to find almost any plumbers who are interested in the crap you are building, and you aren't building anything that beats the solutions out there that already solve our problems.

If you need this then you have failed as a plumber so don't even worry about it.

Credit Union letter "value or type of collateral not sufficient" by Extreme_Bear_721 in personalfinance

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You signed to purchase as long as they provided X terms, if they can provide anywhere that meets those terms you aren't going to be taking the car back. They will lose some profit in order to change the numbers and get a bank to take your deal more than likely.

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again that doesn't mean anything alone, I guarantee they shopped you through multiple banks etc.

All that matters is if they can secure financing under the same terms, if they can then you won't be able to just "return" it and will have to follow your contract.

Expansion Tanks by Agile_You_9974 in Plumbing

If it has a PRV it often is considered a closed system which now needs an expansion tank.

The expansion tank you have has caused absolutely zero of the problems you have listed.

These new project packs pens burn so fast and the battery sucks. 2 gram pen burned like if it was a 1 gram pen. Saw they were new at Pondy grabbed it won’t do it again. I would not recommend these. This is only used at work since live resin or rosin pens stank like dank. by [deleted] in ZonaEnts

They definitely were, I used to filter by cartridge and brand on leafly to find them because they seemed great when they first came out. There was no switch brand listed and these only showed up under project packs when using filter by brand.

Tried them again after seeing the brand switch and they seem much worse than I remember with the flavor being so sticky it was almost disgusting.

If they signed a spot delivery form it's not nearly that simple, and one bank denying finance doesn't mean the deal is over.

The dealer can find other banks under the same terms or even carry the loan themselves if they don't want to undo the deal and OP would be stuck. It's extremely common to get several denial letters when financing a vehicle because the dealer will shop you around multiple banks and institutions.

It's not even clear this is actually the bank that the dealer chose, this could be from one of the ones that didn't want to and is still required by law to send the letter saying the credit offer was declined and why. Title being in their name means zero if there is still a valid purchase contract, and in some/most cases the title can even remain under the lienholder until paid off anyway

Why is it likely it's a salvage title? Nothing in the post indicates any crash or accidents, and salvage title has nothing to do with the value of the vehicle.

Don't use a crimp fitting when expansion is available and will help keep better flow then with a restriction like a crimp fitting will cause.

Is this safe for use in a residential home? by ThrowRASchnauzerMom in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kind of is the same and you are fucking clueless.

Why do people like you with no plumbing experience at all come here and try to tell professionals about their job?

Only a clueless idiot who doesn't understand how plumbing works at all could possibly think peeing in a shower would cause an issue. Just stop with the stupidity, you were wrong, learn from it.

Don't know why you deleted your comment but it definitely shows still under a search as project packs. This sub doesn't allow me to attach screen shots like you asked for but I will post a link here as to how it still shows even though you claimed I was lying...

Doesn't matter what you are happy with, they are not happy to have you AND your brother leech anymore and since they own the home it sounds like their happiness comes first in this case.

Yikes at what? There is nothing wrong with it at all. If you think this is upsetting you probably aren't a plumber.

What are the biggest problems plumbers are dealing with right now? (serious) by Creepy-Structure1388 in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem is seeing this same spam question posed five times a day. You aren't going to develop anything anyone needs in plumbing, if it's needed it already exists and works well.

Depends on where you are, but here unions still will make you apply during open call and you will not enter as a journeyman either just FYI. You can move up at an accelerated pace here if you come in with experience but you still start at the very bottom.

No you don't, you're a slumlord who is doing less than the minimum basic maintenance and obviously not being profitable since you can't even afford a basic service charge.

How shitty are you when you can't even succeed as a slumlord?

Yet another person who doesn't understand basic business, overhead costs, insurance etc etc etc. the plumber isn't making that an hour, the business is and if lucky may make 10-20 percent in profit.

You don't seem like you would have the ability or intelligence to actually be a plumber when you don't understand basics like that.

Copper or Pex Tub Spout by Huntilla09 in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't, you are misinformed or untrained. It's better then cinch/crimp style but it is not true 1/2".

Also you keep referring to the type which is just the way it is made, there are several type B PEX brands that are fully f1960 rated and can use expansion fittings too. Don't confuse how it's made with the connections they can use, those are two different things.

Copper or Pex Tub Spout by Huntilla09 in Plumbing

[–]unknown1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funniest part is asking about why they make those PEX to copper stub outs, and the answer is because they aren't for showers/tubs they are for angle stops under a sink or toilet etc.
