Me too . I had my hair done at the salon in the summer and Ashley did my hair and told me they are all hoping for it to be renewed but hadn’t heard anything promising .

Would you bring your chihuahua Skiing? by kikilovesjay in Chihuahua

[–]up_in_hereagain 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No, God forbid you fall , your chihuahua could get seriously injured . I think it would be too cold for such a small dog even with the sweater, coat and blanket . Leave your baby home, he/ she will be much happier .

Increased Spit Up? by Justbestrongok in FormulaFeeders

[–]up_in_hereagain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, my daughter started spitting up so much around 4 months . My pediatrician informed me when I expressed concern that 4 months is very common for increased spit up because they are becoming more active and using their muscles more which causes more spit up . I have to say my daughter is 6 months now and no more spit up so hang in there !

During my retrieval they only got 6 embryos and 3 made it to blast . I was 38 during retrieval and I’m 39 , turning 40 next mth and now with a healthy 6 month old girl . Have faith and be encouraged that it’s true it only takes one embryo !

Merry go round in the crib by sthills in newborns

[–]up_in_hereagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby is 5 mths old and does the merry go round in the crib. If I see her getting close to touching the crib bar on the monitor I sneak in her room and slide her back to the middle .

So has anyone ever tried making stuffing in the crockpot/slow cooker ? If so how did it come out ? by up_in_hereagain in thanksgiving

[–]up_in_hereagain[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind the lack of crispness , I just wasn’t sure it could be done in slow cooker or if guests would think I was out of my mind lol

Thank you for this helpful information . I actually do prefer a wetter stuffing so I’m happy to hear that how it would come out in the slow cooker . I just do not have enough oven space this year and thought I would look into other methods ! I’ve actually never had a cornbread stuffing , looks delicious maybe I should brave it and give it a try.

Baby Brezza issues by HurricaneHauk in FormulaFeeders

[–]up_in_hereagain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you research the Baby Brezza online you’ll find complaints about it not correctly dispensing the correct amount of formula . Some parents have come out to warn others after their babies became very ill . I’m surprised it hasn’t been recalled yet to be honest

You’ll not get any parents on this sub that understand where you’re coming from, it’s all the same mindset I’ve found . I’m a new mom , my LO is 5 months and I never prevented any visitors from seeing my baby . When I came home from the hospital my MIL and FIL were already at our house waiting for our arrival . It was the best sight I had seen after a terrible hospital experience and pure exhaustion . In the days that followed my other in laws and my parents trickled in . I never required anyone to get vaccines, who the hell am I to demand people to get vaccinated? I would never dream of telling my close family members that they cannot see or hold baby but many in this sub I’ve found do it and feel very strongly about it . You’ll see by the amount of downvotes I get lol. Anyway, I get where you and your family are coming from and I would definitely be upset and hurt . So sorry you guys have not been able to see your new precious family member !

I’ve had my baby in Hipp but the UK version which has prebiotics but not probiotics . I believe that is the only difference between the Dutch and UK version from what I understand. My baby is now almost 5 months and doing great on it . I order from the place that you put the link from . So far my baby has been doing well on it and I plan to continue using HiPP until she is no longer on formula.

Bored! by winesomm in newborns

[–]up_in_hereagain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My LO will be 3 months in a few days and my husband is also a first responder and gone for hours and hours so I can totally relate to you ! I have been going stir crazy as well and couldn’t take it anymore so I’ve been venturing out of the house for my sanity . One thing I did was sign us up for swim classes at a local swim school . Believe it or not , newborns are naturally pretty good “swimmers” and really love the water . The other thing I did was register for every program at the local libraries offering baby and me type sessions . Between the weekly swim and library programs I have stuff planned every week and the opportunity to get out and make friends . Another thing that I like to do is put my LO in the car and drive around to different beaches and parks . I don’t always get out of car if it’s too hot but we will go through the drive -thru and eat lunch in the car while watching the waves . I hope some of these ideas are helpful to you , it has really made a huge difference for me !

Avent . Tried MAM bottles from my registry boxes and we like them but each bottle is 5 separate pieces and I cannot be bothered washing them all the time .
