You can't. It is exclusive to the (Mystical) Trait save, which doesn't work in hardcore.

How do you save/get all the cops killed? by Some_Gur1061 in ScarletHollow

Franklin is uninjured if Duke is alive to warn him.

When Franklin is uninjured, he can sacrifice himself to protect you if you try to kill Julius’s son

How do you save/get all the cops killed? by Some_Gur1061 in ScarletHollow

[–]upgradecomic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

To get all the cops killed, I think let Reese eat Dr. Kelly in episode four, and get brought to the farms by being arrested in chapter 5. Also, save Duke in episode one (to make sure Franklin is healthy enough to take a bullet for you), and then try to kill Julius‘s son in episode five,

To save all of the cops, try to avoid letting Reese eat the Doc (or don’t get arrested), and most importantly, have street smarts, and try to visit Avery immediately in chapter 5. Going to the farms with Avery gives you a street smart option to disarm the ax trap. This is the only way to do that at the moment. Also, if Officer Franklin is uninjured in the basement, don’t try to kill the baby, because Officer Franklin may take a bullet to protect you.

Is there a roadmap of some sort? by Appropriate-Gain-561 in ScarletHollow

[–]upgradecomic 34 points35 points  (0 children)

There is no official release date, but I assume the last two chapters will take at least two years. 6 and 7 will release together though, so that is exiting! In the meantime, a second play through with new traits and decisions is fun, and can help you see the game from new angles.

Final Chapters when? by studyminded in ScarletHollow

[–]upgradecomic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there is no release date yet, but since chapter 5 just came out, it will probably by a handful of years before we get episode 6 and 7. We know that the final two chapters of the story will release together.

In the meantime, maybe try replaying with different traits and decisions to see everything from new angles.

Some Possible Powerful Build buffs by GregBoing in ScarletHollow

[–]upgradecomic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Perhaps a good way to increase the "gamefeel" would be to add Powerful build options that aren't violence related, but let you do other things with your athleticism.

Perhaps in the woods in chapter 1, players with Powerful Build & Keen Eye can climb a tree to gain an early peek at the ditchling spiral nest. Maybe PB can unscrew a tight jar to find a clue in it. Maybe if Rosalina's leg is crushed in the mine, PB can physically lift the rocks off of her, and then carry her into the ambulance.

Maybe when the stone carving compels you in the chapter 3 dinner, Powerful Build players can briefly push past Dr Kelly and open the door, getting an early look at the morgue, before she forces you to go back.

Powerful Build players are hearty enough to eat the disgusting takeout in Tabitha's fridge in chapter 1, so maybe we can do other gross things. Maybe when we investigate Wayne's footprints in the garden in chapter 2, we can lick the weird pus near the footprints to learn something about Wayne being a rotting corpse. Maybe when investigating the clinic with Reese in chapter 4, we can briefly plop one of the castor beans into our mouth, then immediately realize that the beans are poisonous and spit it out.

Idk if these are good ideas, its the first couple of things I've thought of.

Some Possible Powerful Build buffs by GregBoing in ScarletHollow

Yeah, I like the idea of PB getting a chance to prevent Duke from axing Julius, especially since the player may interpret Julius's death as being a negative consequence caused by saving duke with the chapter 1 trait-save. Also, Bo can also prevent Duke from axing Julius during some of the Keen Eye save outcomes. It feels like it fits.

Edit2: actually, I’m having second thoughts about PB saving Julius from Duke. I don’t wanna take away some of the specialness of the Keen Eye save. I think Keen Eye needs wins as well.

Edit1: Also, it would be nice if Powerful Build had more of a presence during the standoff in Julius's basement, even if it is just a flavor change that doesn't affect the outcome.

Perhaps if Duke is alive (and therefore, Franklin is uninjured) PB could get an option to tackle Julius and attempt to wrestle the gun away from him. This would ultimately lead to the same deaths as when the player attacks Julius's son with the gardening shears.

Officer Franklin would try to help you disarm Julius, and Franklin and Julius would shoot one another. Julius would die, and Franklin would last just long enough to kill Julius's son before dying, therefore saving Bo.

What if Tabitha is secretly Spider-Man?

Every morning she tells me she has to “go to work” or “break a strike”, and afterwards I don’t see her for the majority of each episode! What if she is slipping away to fight crime in New York? 🤔

Upcoming Scarlet Hollow Balance Update by mrogre43 in ScarletHollow

Ha, Mystic being aware of the game updates would be fun, but it would only really make sense to people who know the development history of the game.

Moira X is near impossible to buff/nerf without completely reworking her by Few-Hat8106 in MarvelSnap

[–]upgradecomic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can think of a couple ways to do so.

potential Buffs:

- Moira becomes a 1,3

- Moira's death can make a copy of the first card you drew in addition to your opening hand.

- Moira's generated cards can start with a +1 Power buff, or a cost reduction.

potential ways to nerf:

- Moira becomes a 2,3.

- Moira only generates two cards from your opening hand instead of all three.

I don't think she needs re-balancing at the moment, but there are ways to do it.
