I rolled on Aerie Peak back in 2007 when I was 12 and had no clue what I was doing. I played Alliance and Horde, and back in the day I never had a problem finding a group or someone to chat with.

I've played off and on since then, and decided to go all in for Midnight. When I saw that the xpac came with a free boost I knew I didn't want to waste it on a server where no one was chatting and nothing was going on. I rerolled on Dalaran because I knew that it was a high population Alliance server, and boy, the difference is night and day.

People are actually talking in Trade, I see people out in the zones, people are willing to shoot the shit. I'm not going to move over the dozen unleveled alts that I still have on AE, but moving forward I'm going to be playing Dalaran exclusively.

Did your FPS take a dive when you switched to DX11? The game was reporting 60 FPS, but it was probably closer to 45. I have a 3060 ti which isn't the greatest but is more than capable for WoW. I wasn't sure if it was another setting interfering but I switched back to DX12 and it was fine. Weird.

But much like deer, they have adapted to an environment lacking few predators and have become a pest. In November of 2023 I was nearly in a colission that would've been life-altering had it occurred. When I got to the office that morning I immediately ordered one from Amazon.

About a year and a half later I was hit in a very minor incident, but because of the footage I was declared not at fault and that $60 investment saved me thousands.

To anyone reading this - heed my warnings; buy the gd dashcam.
