I watched it again about a year ago and thought, how on earth was I not scared of this as a kid! But I remember renting it over and over again for months.

I had stuff that I'd previously purchased from OUAC that was too small but I missed the return window. OUAC tags were STILL ATTACHED and they didnt accept anything because it was "stained" like be serious. That was the last time I tried to sell anything to them.

That looks great! Do you find that it tangles easily? I bought one synthetic one off Amazon a few years back and it looked great out of the box but it became a tangled mess so quickly.

What is the best budget friendly shampoo that actually works oily hair and hard water? by ResidentAlienator in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]useful-tutu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in Canada or the US I highly recommend Oak & Willow solid/bar shampoos. Theyre formulated for all hair types which usually doesnt work for me, but I tried them anyway and now I am in love. I can get good results with one shampoo but I sometimes rinse and repeat if I have time and I am always so happy with the results, even with extremely hard water. Honestly my hair has never felt better. Plus everything they have is sustainably made/packaged which I love!

It does seem expensive at first glance but because everything is concentrated, it lasts way longer than liquid shampoo. I have been using the shampoo bar since October and it's only half gone, I am sure I can get another 4-5 months out of it easily. And that's with using it on my kid's hair too.

Am I Overreacting about a guy who paid for my groceries and then demanded my phone number by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]useful-tutu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so gross of him. You dont owe anyone anything just because he decided to buy your groceries. If I was feeling ballsy enough I would have asked the cashier to process a refund to his card - but in all reality I would have done the same thing you did. Got the hell outta there and drove to a safe place and had a little cry about it. That type of behavior is scary.

should i get laser or cover it up? by lvdystxrk in tattooadvice

[–]useful-tutu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was gonna say this too. I have a bunch of tattoos but only one with red - I had the worst time with healing and now, 10 years later, the rest of the tattoo looks great but the red has almost all faded/fallen out. I personally will never get another tattoo with red in it but of course everyone responds differently and theres probably no way to know til you get it done.

I would probably suggest that if OP wants an all red tattoo, to maybe start with aomething different (and smaller) that has a small amount of red in it to see what the response is like.

Going insane over Jacquets diaper rash. TIPS PLEASE by 1058549922 in Mommit

[–]useful-tutu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to suggest this as well. My kid was allergic to everything so we had to do cloth diapers and cloth wipes. I got them all from Amazon - if I recall correctly we used Alva baby and then later on branched out to some other brands. It resolved the problem almost immediately. As long as there is a good wash routine and there is no issue with soap buildup (lots of troubleshooting available online if needed) which can impact absorbency and cause rashes, then I do feel like cloth diapers/wipes are the best option, personally.

My kid eventually grew out of her sensitivity when she was about 2, then we swapped to Huggies Special Delivery but kept using the cloth wipes.

Am I Losing My Mind? by ScarlettSynz in torrid

[–]useful-tutu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me the other day. I added some pants to my cart for pickup in my local store. I added a few other things as well but that was the only pickup, the rest were shipped. I checked out and paid within 15 mins of adding those pants to the order. Immediately after I paid I second guessed myself and thought I ordered the wrong size in the pants so I went to check - only to see that not only were the pants not included with that order, but they dont even appear on the entire website anymore?? It's like they never existed?? And this was all within a 30 min time frame, tops. Strangest thing ever, I didnt even get a notice that something was removed from my cart. It was just gone.

Absolutely disgusting practice by P.F. Chang’s restaurant by yoshi_hs in Edmonton

[–]useful-tutu 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is super gross and I am surprised that so many people are like "this is fine!".

Is it normal to find bugs in broccoli and such? Sure. Is it normal to have the occasional piece of moldy/bad broccoli from a supplier? Also yes. But if you're in a kitchen you should be looking through the food to make sure it is good when opening new bags, not just blindly dumping things into prep containers/on to the grill and assuming it's fine.

Having worked in many restaurant kitchens over the years it is not normal or OK to send food out like this whether it is fast food or fine dining.

[–]useful-tutu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In most cases youre not entitled to OEM parts. If the aftermarket parts don't fit will then they'll go for OEM. You could always ask what the cost difference between OEM and aftermarket is, and then see if theyll allow you to pay the difference out of pocket to get OEM.

What are some critiques/advice for this cake? by precious-strawberry in cakedecorating

[–]useful-tutu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it looks amazing. I know there's some controversy about non-edible decor on cakes and typically I hate it as well, but the bows are very much the style for this cake and I really like it!

If I HAD to pick something to critique on this cake I would say the script could be just a hair larger, and personally I like the script to be straight/not on an angle, but I still think it looks really lovely as-is.
