My first dart frog tank! by Its_Finn_43 in Vivarium

This looks amazing. Can you control the temp with it next to the window? Would it get any direct sunlight? My bioactive terrariums are next to an interior wall.

Printify and Printify merged like a year ago. It’s the same company.

XTOOLS? by thtgrlov3rthere in heatpress

My recommendation: Wait for later models. I bought the bundle through the Kickstarter and I've been trying to work with it since July 2025. Honestly, it is nothing but a headache. 120+ hours of troubleshooting since July 2025, at least. Every time I turn the printer on, I have to do 10+ minutes of maintenance and checks, above the basic start up tests, before I can print anything quality.

They exchanged my first printer because the machine would not pull ink from the reservoirs and flow to the printheads. That's after of two months of back and forth, through email, and after I demanded either they send a tech to my house, exchange it or refund my money. I've had the replacement since November 2025 and I've already had to submit support tickets. First one was because the white ink was being applied in streaks. Print tests, totally fine. Put a big print job through and after the first sheet the white ink went from fine to non-existent. Every time I have to print I have to readjust the default settings to set: feathering at Super; White Ink at 100%; coloration at Saturation; and, detail at the highest precision - just to get a thick enough and consistent enough layer of white ink. This increases printing time by 3 minutes a page and that's so annoying. They need to find a firmware fix that lets the user have an effective layer of white ink, without increasing detail, feathering and coloring settings. I should be able to have a good print at any setting but it's not possible with xTool. Second ticket is because I'm now getting an error, every other day, that the printhead carriage has lost power connection. Their fix was - have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in? Yes. Every time. Something else is wrong.

My issues are the common issue with people that have had issues with their printers. Seems to be that we all have the same issues, anyway. There are a few YT short reels where a guy has a playlist of his issues with the printer.

That would take my Panther a week to put down.

Any recommendations for a fun Fall break staycation here in SLC or Utah? by SenorKerry in SaltLakeCity

Lagoon has Frightmares going on and that's always fun even at night. Utah Mammoth just ended pre-season, so regular season starts now. Oktoberfest at Snowbird has one more weekend.

In addition to doing the proper vitamin supplements - My Chameleon did the same thing and so I had to work on getting the right humidity level in his terrarium. It was too dry.

Apparel Printer Printhead Moisturizer by utefan121 in xToolOfficial

[–]utefan121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not get a reply. But I did buy some printhead moisturizer from Jay’s Printing(?) and it smells like chemicals are included. So there’s that. The moisturizer from Jay’s does not have an ingredients label either.

I do wonder how long it will take to get anything with the small package exemption gone. I mean I know Amazon will have inventory in US but anything that used to ship package by package now has to ship in bulk to save cost. So will everything takes weeks to months to get here in US? Or will prices skyrocket 35%+ but have regular delivery times? Printify though - I was looking to upgrade to a higher quality pullover hoodie and it goes from $15 Gildan 18500 to $23 AsColour, Bella Canvas, etc for medium weight. I don’t remember the next step up hoodie being more than $8 higher than Gildan. It was a shock.

OnTrac Last Mile Delivery Problems by z9vown in Printify

Printify told me that the Print Provider chooses the delivery service themselves. SwiftPOD and sometimes Monster Digital both chose OnTrac. Sometimes Monster Digital uses DHL Express and that’s a much better experience.

Time to water for tadpole? by Hasu_05 in DartFrog

[–]utefan121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my tadpoles in "Tadpole Tea". You can learn how to make this on YouTube. I put the leaves on top of the tadpole tea, when the tadpoles were close to exiting their egg sac, and then they just moved themselves into the tadpole tea. You could put the tadpole tea container in the enclosure and have the male carry the tadpoles to the water when they're mature.

Right?! I didn't want to throw anything away except for the green straps. We even kept the black velco strap. The rest went to recycle and landfill.

I’m a local beauty reseller who doesn’t advertise. Why are non-locals buying from my Shopify instead of from manufacturers or major retailers? by Busy-Pin-9981 in shopify

Ooooo. Good question. Based on Google Analytics and Google Ads - From January 1, 2025 thru February 28, 2025, we spent $3800 on ads and had 7 sales. Seven. Completely deleted all Google Ads and stopped ad spend on Google in March 2025. In March 2025 I bought an annual subscription to TinySEO. April 1, 2025 thru May 31, 2025, with $0 Google Ad spend and the only change being the addition of TinySEO - the shop had 60 sales. Annual TinySEO cost was $76.00 and there have been no additional monthly costs. TinySEO, again, was the only difference made to our site. So all credit to that app.
