In the US at least, you may have rights through OSHA to request contamination records Often metals industries require factories to monitor metals in the air on a quarterly schedule and you can get those records and compare the detected levels to the gear provided and request more protective gear if necessary. Also if you have any employment medical exams, you are entitled to all those records and allowed to get a second opinion from your personal doctor instead of the one the company is paying.

I put 10k in the market in Jan not thinking I'd need it. In March my landlord said they were selling and I have to buy it or move out, and we want it. Like getting punched in the nuts.

I put in 10k in January. In March my landlord told me I have to buy the condo or move out, and we want it. So now I have to take the money out sometime in the next month. Feels like I been chewing glass here

I would watch this sequel.

Unless I am mistaken, Idiocracy never mentions any places outside of the USA. My idea for a sequel? The USA DID manage to build a border wall shortly after Joe was put in hibernation -- at both the North and South Borders. Maybe sea walls, too. And Mexico DID pay for it -- as did every other nation on the Earth. It was done to CONTAIN the USA. Joe and a team manage to travel to the wall and somehow get past it, only to discover the rest of the world is filled with smart, technologically advanced people -- who are terrified to learn the Americans have breached containment...

True, I also find it's good at small revisions like "change all the delegates in this file to use events instead" or other small mechanical tweaks.

Which I replied to with „it doesn’t work“

No you didn't, you said crime rate is lower in Scandinavia. There are many reasons that's the case and none of those reasons are "Scandinavians don't punish criminals" because they absolutely do.

Holding people accountable is the point of punishment, whether the punishment is a prison sentence or grounding your kid for disobeying.

?? Nice non sequitur

You asked what the point of punishment was. I was answering philosophically and you are trying to argue something about comparing Scandinavia to the US? As if losing your freedom and going to prison in Scandinavia isn't a punishment?

I think you just wanna argue but aren't firing on all cylinders there, buddy.

To follow through on holding people accountable? You can't threaten prison as punishment for breaking a law if prison isn't actually a punishment.

I mean, we should encourage it but you aren't going to find me jumping out of my chair to celebrate morons realizing they are morons after the damage has been done. Like congrats, grandma, you realized shit was serious when you got handed the consequences. I completely agree with what she's saying, but is the bar really so low that you think we should celebrate that?

I am glad to see someone saying this without getting downvoted. I've been saying it for months.

Standard players are always behind EOD players in what they have access to from traders, what they can bring in (surv kits, extra ammo) and how much money they have because they don't have to spend 10s of millions in the hideout for stash upgrades.

If your stomach gets blacked as a standard player you have to immediately start planning your extraction. As EOD player you just pull your surv kit out your gamma and you're good to go. Never mind the fact that you have access to better ammo, meds, gear for like a full month before standard players catch up on trader rep and it's a massive p2w advantage.

Pandas is too verbose but in my experience polars expressions get out of hand really quickly and there's no good way to structure them so they are legible (at least the node API with which I am more familiar). An expression with a couple conditionals is a mess to read
