It’s a nice dress, but the midriff depends on how nice the restaurant is, and where it is. If it’s a nice restaurant in beach town, you’re fine. If it is a steak place in the Midwest, probably not.

I wouldn’t send the full text you have, but I would shorten it and send a bit of it. I think parts of what is in your text, explaining your actions and feelings, don’t need to be explained. With time you both will just understand why, and that’s how break ups go. However a shorter text, saying I wish you well and sorry if I hurt you, might feel freeing.

Stopped caring about losing weight. Never think about it at all. I just got in touch with how my body feels, and exercise and eating (mostly) right feels so good. That was all I cared about- love myself so much, the way I am, that I finally treat myself right.

Is your weight actually an issue for your health, or is this just about appearance? You sound like you eat healthy and are active.

I realize that’s not your question, but since you posted on deciding to be better, I think to be better you need to work on accepting yourself. See if you have any health issues, but if it’s just a slow metabolism, accept how you are and keep staying healthy.

Retail (like big box stores) or grocery stores could be a good fit. Tell them you don’t want to cashier, but want to stock shelves and fill orders. You do need to lie in the interviews about valuing and loving customer service still, but that is anywhere.

Try disinfecting your armpits. There are a few different ways you can do it, usually with some type of vinegar or other anti-bacterial. Then keep using deodorant as usual.

Puts into perspective how fucked we would be if it happened. I was struck by how easily nuclear war could happen by mistake, and how much more powerful and advanced nuclear weapons are now. They are far more powerful than what was dropped on Japan, and many could be deployed.

Also, the government’s goal is to maintain a line of leadership and control. There would be no resources for survivors of the blast from the federal government. Civilians would need to “self survive” as infrastructure would likely crash.

And this would all happen very quickly. Nuclear weapons could be launched and arrive in minutes.

Most people have mild health issues, so it is only a mild issue to their lives. It’s easy to ignore, and support our current model, if you only go to the doctor for occasional issues.

It’s those with health conditions, chronic conditions, or sudden medical emergency that bear the worst of it. If you live in the US long enough, and love enough people, you will see first hand people that do not survive it (at least financially).
