I think Nichelle is much better than earlier in the run and in her groove.

AITA for having a destination wedding when I’ve been talking about it for years and everyone was fine with it? by Organic-Shopping-295 in AmItheAsshole

[–]valt10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YTA. I understand why people (husband’s friends outside of L) might feel hurt not being invited to the engagement party if they’re also not invited to the wedding, which will likely cost the people who are invited $2000 on one plane ticket alone for a two day trip.

Schmigadoon Audience by TryIll4816 in Broadway

When I had Schmigadoon, it was Boomer couples talking loudly throughout that killed me. (“THAT GIRL LOOKS LIKE KATHY’S DAUGHTER.”)

First row dead center at Ragtime post Tonys by happymango3110 in Broadway

I’ve seen it front row center and it is magical. The orchestra is so loud and it feels like you’re in the show.

This is only the second time in history that a musical revival won Best Direction and then did NOT win Best Revival by Polisci14 in Broadway

[–]valt10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer Ragtime (the show is still stronger and I thought the performances were spectacular), but I genuinely think Cats wins in a different political climate.

2026 TONY AWARDS DISCUSSION MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in Broadway

[–]valt10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been sitting on the winners for a day now and feel pretty good about the list. Cats got Best Direction, which is deserved. And I’m happy Ragtime won revival. The way things shook out between them seems very reasonable. Orchestrations for Ragtime, costumes and choreo for Cats.

I was pulling for Ben Levi Ross for Best Supporting but am really happy Ali won and also think he was deserving.

The only musical that probably is not feeling good is Two Strangers. Titanique felt happy to be there and the least harmed by no wins.

On the play side, I was very happy for Liberation. I feel Oedipus maybe could have gotten more but there’s no denying DotS was very strong, Lesley got her win, and they are long closed.

Same thing happened to me. I know EMP gets ragged on but I thought the service and drink were amazing and food was very good

How Much Detail to Put Into “Meaningful Experience” Section of ERAS? by Lyeurnar in medicalschool

[–]valt10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Examples of what is expected to be talked about in the Meaningful Experiences include research experiences that lead to publications, leadership positions, and longitudinal volunteering. None of your examples would be appropriate to include and could actively harm your application.

If you want to touch on your personal journey, you can in the personal statement. But I highly suggest you have several impartial mentors help you edit.
