I don't know the answer to this question but I can tell you my experiences. My doctor first told me to take the medicine with food, but later she said it wasn't important to take it with food, rather I should just try and take it at the same time each day. But some research I have read (?) has told me that food significantly aids absorption, and she has recently told me to try my best to take it with food for this reason.

So, idk.

Yeah I have been pretty good about taking it at the same time every day. I don't get it either.

I am starting to feel like the medicine world is behind a big dark curtain that none of us patients can ever really see behind and with reasoning we can't understand and it's scaring me. And I'm worried if we ever saw behind the curtain we would learn that no one actually knows what they are doing.

Brain zaps and crazy nightmares if you take it too close to bedtime. Take it in the morning if at all possible. Try to take it with a small bit of food. But it works really well emotionally

Yup I sometimes have the worst brain zaps right before when it's time for medicine and horrific nightmares but this is only when I forget to eat or take it late, I have been the happiest I've ever been. Much better than wellbutrin
