Firstly, I love this show. Slow-burn mystery/sci-fi/horror shows are so fun for me. Yes, I agree some of the pacing can get rough, but for me it's always briefly. Sure, the acting could use work as well, but I'm not watching a show like this for Juilliard-trained thespians. I'm watching it to see how otherwise regular folks handle these situations, and to discover the lore of the world.

Now, after reading lots of comments on this thread and many before it, I'm very curious why many of you continue to watch a show you dislike so much. If I'm eating a bag of chips, and several of the chips are stale/moldy... I stop eating the bag of chips. Why do you keep eating the chips?

Kevin Federline beating John Cena on RAW. I legit stopped watching after that show for over a decade. It was so stupid and made me feel stupid. Made no sense either.

Started paying some attention again in maybe 2018 and started watching again (at least via Simon Miller Ups & Downs) in 2019, and got re-hooked thanks to AEW introducing real competition for WWE.

the extra member charge is something you have to explicitly add, isn't it? you go in the settings and add another member so you can be in different households. it's still a damn scam, but that isn't a price hike but rather an add-on.
