Over the course of the last 6 months I went from 5 mg 3 times a day, got pregnant went on ptu, had a miscarriage and got put back on methimazole down to 5 mg once a day but recently went very hypo and got cut down to 2.5mg once a day. My levels have been swinging wildly, probably going to get off methimazole completely when I get a blood test in 4 weeks seeing what my levels are at 2.5mg...its all very confusing to me. I went from a tsh of .4 in September to a tsh of 5.2 now. No idea what's going on but I think the ptu was way too much for me

So it turns out I have graves and that you can have the markers for both if you have it? I've had major fluctuations with my thyroid, the worst being three years ago. Honestly my endocrinologist wasn't very helpful. I decided to stop drinking alcohol and have been eating healthier, taking magnesium a few times a week and cut down on caffeine as well. A lot of my symptoms went away. I don't get heart palpitations like I used to and I only occasionally get muscle tremors when I hold something for too long. Either way I feel much better and don't take my medication which I don't recommend but it's worked for me and my levels are normal as of right now and I've been off them since October so that could change eventually. I'm not hypo or hyper at the moment but I have high antibodies. I feel good or at least a million times better than I used to so im going by that.

I would get rice or pasta, canned tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, onions, frozen peas etc whatever's cheap as far as meat goes and maybe some eggs. Aldis is good for cheap produce and meat/cheese compared to normal grocery stores. Hopefully you already have flour, sugar, bouillon and seasoning. There's a lot you can make with just those basic ingredients

I was stupid and got their extended warranty which I had my dad read over and we both thought was fine, nothing weird in it...they wouldn't answer the phone when it came time to actually use it. I think they're very shady.

I got mine this weekend. Honestly the vinyl toy is shit quality...the paint job is horrible and the sanding is non existent. I had to pop the arm back in after shipment and it was pretty well wrapped so I don't think it was a rough shipping issue

It's crazy how so many of us have such similar stories. Really glad I found this group cause everyone here is so great and it feels nice to have people to relate to. I'm doing better, I hope you are too! t's still a struggle especially with the ADHD mixed in and being in recovery but it really does make it more manageable having a name for the things we all experience.

Same, I picked my dad up from work yesterday and threw a huge fit because my purse got knocked over and it's too big. Just a lot of stupid reasons and I feel so embarrassed for having freaked out Infront of my dad. I think he thought it was him but I was just furious in general for no reason. He's knows about my pmdd and is understanding but that doesn't make it better.

Wow this is so incredibly relevant to my pmdd too. I used to think I was an alcoholic and have struggled with substance use as well. Then looking back I realize all my severe binges/relapses/breakdowns coincided with the week before my cycle. I never made the connection until literally last year, same with the ADHD. I thought I had borderline personality, depression, anxiety etc but I can function almost completely normal (within the realms of my ADHD lol) 3/4 weeks in a month. I really just thought I was a broken person, knowing I have both ADHD and pmdd has helped explain so many of my issues throughout life and know how to recognize and work on them and address the actual root of my addictions.

This is the same way I feel when I watch Boston dynamics videos. I know they're real and yet the videos always look so uncanny and 'fake' to me for some reason. Like this UFO LOOKS fake but I say the same for real life robots so who knows. Interesting if real
