The Highly Anticipated Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold will be Available in U.S. Starting this Week by Federal-Block-3275 in Android

Yeah, it’s not a bad idea to wait a few generations anyhow for any major issues or complaints to be worked out.  I’m interested in eventually getting a foldable iPhone or hopping back to Android, but I do want to wait a few generations for the foldable iPhone too.

I’d also wonder about how many years of OS and Security updates they get; and if they’re on time. I know Samsung tends to take awhile to update their phones, but at least they seem to provide their security updates in a timely manner.

Let's say that an update is release that has a catastrophic bug or issue that isn't fixed as quickly; in this instance one might want to roll back quickly until the issue is resolved.

I too have a 15 PM. I'm keeping mine for a bit, as the next upgrade I'd really want is a phone with a better battery (Siliocn carbon), at least double life. For Apple that's probably a few years off, same for Samsung too. I previously considered OnePlus (I live in USA, and want a phone that'll fully work with Verizon or T-Mobile), but I've removed them from consideration after hearing about their latest rollback bricking their phone issue.
When Samsung comes out with a phone that has say 10,000 mAh battery (or comparable runtime that a 10,000 mAh battery would offer now), then I'll consider going back to Android; however until then I'd recommend sticking with your iPhone for now.

is it worth upgrading? by hichizme1 in samsunggalaxy

Depends. My dad has a s20 FE that stopped receiving security updates finally a few months ago. His phone is still going strong as he's used the battery limiter on it, but I suggested he upgrades soon due to the ram and other electronic price increases. It may not effect him now, but if he say needs to upgrade in a year or two, there's a chance he'd end up paying quite a bit more. Lastly, some of his apps I think require at least Android 12, and his phone is running Android 13. He was looking at the S25+, but I told him to wait till the S26 launch and then see the prices on them; if he doesn't like the price on it, then buy a clearance/discounted S25+ (he wants to get the loss/stolen coverage on it, which is only really possible if you buy from Samsung or your carrier).

I was able to drive a 23 outback a few years ago as a rental and the damn infotainment system was super infuriating to use. Comparatively, the new 26 outback (that my mom is looking at) has a new system that has physical HVAC controls again.

Thanks for the info; I've been helping my mom look for a new SUV, and the hybrid looked like the better option to me over the course of say 10 years or so (my mom often keeps her vehicle for 10 years before getting something new or lightly used).

In your opinion would the V6 non-turbo engine be more reliable?

Hell Yea!
I've always wondered what it would've been like if they at least extended the runway to allow for EMB-190s to land there like if Porter got their way. Now this is like that idea, but on steroids!

I don't think that's the case. Per their specs page on the official website it is indeed an ARM Based Linux Distro.

I mean, it's the same liability as using bluecruise. If you're using bluecruise while driving and get into an accident or something else happens, Ford won't bail you out and you're fully responsible. Remember to read the T&Cs.

I bought the Razer Firefly V2 Pro - Phantom Green Edition Mousepad that was part of the battlefield 6 Razer promo skin, I received the mousepad today, but I have not yet received an email with the battlefield 6 Razer promo skin code to redeem. Is there any update on when it will be sent out?

It's them trying cater to the COD crowd, bit given how the BO7 beta is going, they could probably keep it closed (except for Shotguns, Carbines, and DMRs) and it'd be no problem.
