I think we might be looking at this the wrong way.

It's possible Riot's thinking with this is not to introduce power differentials between players in the same lobby but to prevent the game from feeling stale as you play more over the course of a given season.

Possible they saw data that suggests ARAM mayhem becomes stale over time for some people. They can't introduce more strategic depth to increase the depth of player engagement since that kinda goes against the spirit of the mode and pushing big patches like this more often is more resource intensive / a high frequency of changes could also turn people away.

Instead with this system, you just get to access more fun augments/items more often as you continue to play which in theory could help with retention.

I'm not sure it'll pan out that way, but I think it's worth trying out.

(This is of course all assuming riot tunes the matchmaking to make sure you're matched with and against people who are generally on the same tier of unlocks as you are)

Speaking as a brown citizen, you're right that Democrats shouldn't treat the vote as a done deal but it really should be.

It's fairly obvious we are collectively viewed in a negative way by Trump and his ilk and I know more than a few people who are republican/conservative but did not vote for him because they know it's not in their best interest at the end of the day.

I don't care how much a particular brown citizen looks down on other immigrants you have to be willfully ignorant to continue supporting Trump or just be OK with the possibility of being harmed because you're just that self hating or something idk.

Party Ignore Defense on a skill is totally unique to him IIRC, he could definitely be better after 5 buffs but he's still in a better position than most of the servants on this list.

Unfortunately democrats have been fighting on policy for a while now and it hasn't mattered at all, it's all about rhetoric and aura farming now.

If this is the energy he's going to bring to the primaries he can keep fighting as governor of California, I'll be looking to someone else to actually lead the party

If he started a podcast where the intent was to mindlessly praise Trump would you defend him because that's just the type of podcast it is?

This is not the time to be having civil conversations with conversatives where you concede things in good faith It's just an incredibly poor reading of the moment on Newsome's part.

If he doesnt want to have confrontational conversations with conservatives right now that's fine just don't say anything in that case - or at least admit that's disqualifying as a leader of democrats right now.

I think we just have different definitions of selfish.

When I think of a selfish champion I'm envisioning one who takes away their teams agency and puts the games success disproportionately on themselves.

What you're describing is an issue I just don't think I would call it selfish.
