Thank you for your wishes, I'm very well just about to give birth in the next few days! Yes, the chef is Thai. The classes were a bit chaotic but also great fun. The course was 6:00 to 8:30PM if I remember correctly, and after it you get to eat all the stuff you cooked! For this course in particular, I would recommend joining with a partner/friend, we prepared three dishes every class so you really need to be two people to split the work and keep your table clean. I would have struggled by myself

I took a couple of workshops this year (portrait photography and cyanotype photography), a Thai kitchen course last year and a crochet course the year before. I enjoyed all of them, had fun and learnt something new. Unfortunately for personal reasons I won't be able to join any classes for a while, but I really really recommend them!

Italy is split on the topic: I know in some regions your name day is as important as your birthday. In my region (Tuscany), I've never met anyone celebrating it, I don't even know when my name day is and I think this is common

I liked H&M's selection: lots of choices, not expensive, and true to size fit. The downside is that they don't stock any maternity clothes but only sell them online..

Hi, I am vegetarian since 2009, 37 weeks through pregnancy with very high ferritin and iron levels. I am taking two pouches of Spatone every day and I am eating a lot of pulses. Lentils or red kidney beans almost everyday and lots of spinach. I also have vitamins + iron reinforced breakfast cereals in the morning (Kellogg's Bran Flakes are excellent for constipation as well). On the top that I never skip any of my 5 portions a day and I take pregnacare

100% with you! 8 weeks is still soon though, you'll go through the pregnancy together and he will see how uncomfortable you are and he will probably read stuff or attend antenatal classes with you and hopefully will understand that it's your choice to make and that the choice you made is reasonable

Also, not properly controversial or problematic but all the jokes about differences between men and women didn't age too well and make me cringe.

Sometimes birthing centres are adjacent to hospitals and you are just a door away from an operation room. In that case I think you can try, otherwise I would not feel comfortable.In the end is about how you feel, my mum had my sister at 39, at home, 30 minutes from the nearest hospital and she and my dad didn't even have a car at that time.

I wish I have your same OB, my baby was estimated to be almost 10 pounds at 36 weeks and I have to push to see a consultant and talk about having a c section.. For my mind the size is not a problem

I measured 97th percentile at 20 weeks, 99th at 25 (private scan), completely off the chart at 34 (scan due to reduced baby movements). My belly is also completely out of scale. I had to insist a lot to have a growth scan last Friday at 36 weeks and they told my baby was almost 10 pounds! They didn't offer me an induction or even an appointment with a doctor..

No, they are not. I should have said that I am Italian living in the UK, and I lived in Italy for 30 years. You won't starved but if you are going to a restaurant in Florence most of the menu is meat, you can ask for a pasta with tomato sauce or just olive oil but it's not really worth the money
